Location and area around very peaxefull
Ageing factor
Nice grounds very peaceful.
We were not happy with our evening meal breakfast was cold. The room allocated to my brother was too far as he had problems with his legs.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good.
The evening meal that I chose was mediocre.
Large grounds and convenient location
Slightly dated but value for money and convenience for our trip
Nice location, beautiful grounds, quiet, clean, comfortable rooms even though it seemed quite busy, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Brilliant to be able to bring our dog.
The carpet in our room was a little stained in places, but it was clean.
fair price
there was no milk at breakfast. we waited for approximately 30 minutes and it did not come. Our son left not eaten anything. Staff apologised but offered no discount even though we paid for him and he did not eat.
we did not have our breakfast token with us on arrival at breakfast. Our fault I guess, however when we asked the breakfast and reception staff to help but they insisted that there was nothing they could do and sent us back to our room to retrieve the token. Reception was right next to the breakfast room. Our room was not :-(
Great staff
Decor is a bit tired
Lovely lady on reception, very friendly & helpful. Decent gym & pool for a hotel.
None of the TV channels were working, poor signal. Phone reception awful too, WhatsApp call only which meant I couldn’t call customers or work properly as the Wi Fi was also really poor in my room. Breakfast too expensive for what it is!
All good

Room was very large, swimming pool nice and warm and very friendly staff.
Room in need of modernising but fair enough for the price.
Unfortunately there was a lot of banging that kept me up late.. would have put in ear plugs but plug sockets not close to the bed so would have missed my alarm.
Very friendly staff, loved the fact we could take our young dog into the bar area and have a meal.
Very clean room, with everything you would need.
Lovely grounds to walk round.
Only thing we found was the mattress wasn't very comfortable for us, we realise this is a personal preference and it didn't take anything away from a wonderful stay.
早餐,网球场,健身房,游泳池
屋里灯光很暗
Fantastic hotel, very dog-friendly, with lots of outdoor space and friendly, attentive staff. The price is also excellent.
The food is good—obviously not Michelin-star quality—but exactly what you need: tasty, satisfying, and reasonably priced. Personally, I found the breakfast buffet excellent, with a fantastic choice. The hot buffet section in particular had a very good selection, and for the price it’s hard to fault. I initially thought breakfast seemed a bit pricey, but after deciding over Christmas to include it in our booking, I was very impressed.
It’s also a great place for outdoor drinks and dining. There’s a good gym and an indoor pool as well (the outdoor pool is no longer in use).
I remember this hotel from when I was growing up, and in the 90s it was considered a luxury hotel. The rooms do look a little like not much has changed since then, although it seems they are updating things bit by bit—which, given the size of the hotel, must be a huge and costly job to do all at once!
However, for the price you pay, this is far outweighed by the positives. The rooms are always clean and tidy, and there’s consistently a well-stocked tea, coffee, and biscuit tray, which is a nice touch.
Good location
Maybe in of modernisation
