Average stay, definitely not four star
Pros:

Staff were pleasant, Housekeeping ladies were lovely and helpful

Cons:

Restaurant was cold and we were diverted to the Bar first day, Gluten free options were very limited and delivery's for the main options were arriving on the Monday after our checkout. Second day breakfast hair in food. Heating in room was intermittent and road noise was very loud so don't stay in the rooms at the front of the hotel. Take your own robes, the hotel doesn't supply unless your booking an expensive Spa treatment package

Was a very nice and very worth it
Pros:

Breakfast was great, pool was very nice, room was fantastic.

Cons:

Dinner could have been better and the jacuzzi next to the pool is quite small

Needs a little attention all round
Pros:

The hotel had a fab smell, due to the location of the beauty treatment facilities.
The staff rectified a matter of concern I had very quickly, even though their initial reaction was below parr.
Hotel is easy to find.
Restaurant staff were very nice.

Cons:

The bar had a few middle aged men drinking at 11:30 on a Sunday morning, one kept popping his head into the back of reception to talk to staff( he was not staff)
Made me question the situation.

The hotel needs attention
The lift looks like it has been battered all around the door.. Not great.
Carpets aging.
Hotel room needs to be more inviting ( executive room)

A welcoming, comfortable friendly stay.
Pros:

I liked that all the staff were very helpful polite friendly professional kind and courteous.

Cons:

Afternoon tea could have been located perhaps in the restaurant or further away from the bar area. We had 2 groups of people 1 at the bar and 1 who sat virtually next to us when there were lots of alternative seats away from us. This group were fairly loud at times and using phones to play music and videos etc. I appreciate the hotel doesn't have control over where guests sit but an alternative location for guests eating afternoon tea would be preferable. Once our afternoon tea was served we didn't see the waitress again and left the table. We were leaving the hotel after the afternoon tea and the Waitress was at Reception as we left. I thanked her on our way out. I was expecting her to ask if everything had been alright but she didn't. This kind of spoilt the end of an otherwise lovely 24 hour stay. 😀Thank you.
