Amazing breakfast and stay
Pros:

It was very clean and nice and also beautiful location and staff was nice

Cons:

In the night someone start smoking from guest and the alarm start that ruined our sleep .

Good but could have been better !!
Pros:

Well located good parking very comfortable room !

Cons:

This property would have received an ‘excellent’ rating all round but the quality of the restaurant food really was below standard. Breakfast ok but evening meals were poorly cooked very sub standard !!

Relaxing stay with easy access to Glasgow. Improved food availability and staffing needed.
Pros:

Family room good size with 2 showers in the bathroom!
Breakfast good, swimming pool good

Cons:

Availability of food for dinner - we stated 7 nights and there was lack of options every evening.
Slow service at dinner, some staff excellent, others not good.
Supplies of tea and coffee lacking - 1 pack of 2 biscuits not enough for 4 people.

Coach trip
Pros:

Honestly there are some good things about this hotel but the cleaning / poor evening food for coach guests lets it down. The bar area is comfortable and drinks not over priced. First evening we were given dried offerings which were inedible. Breakfast was better and the fresh omelette were delicious our room had to change as issues with toilet and apparently no maintenance on weekend- had to use toilets in reception area they were awful and needed a deep cleaning! Corridors bits of rubbish discarded, in stair wells dirty plates/ cups seem to multiply! I could go on and on - hopefully things will improve with feedback . I would not choose this hotel but as part of coach trip deal had no choice.

Could have been so much better
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful on the whole. Breakfast was good although the coffee was poor.

Cons:

Hotel was tired could do with a bit of a makeover.
Room was large but with stained carpets Housekeeping was poor. We were in one day when housekeeper arrived and she couldn't get out quick enough. We went two days with no housekeeping I reported it to reception. The following day they arrived at 17:00 and asked what "what do you want me to do?" On the days they did arrive it was between 15:30 and 16:00.
Evening menu was very poor and food was of a bar lunch standard.

Very pleasant indeed!
Pros:

I really didn't expect everything to be so very well considered, presented and stylishly finished. From a real coffee machine and a fridge (with complimentary soft drinks) in the room, beautiful and soft, quality bedding, a n excellent high end bathroom with shower in bath and additional shower, lovely locally produced toiletries, a bath robe and abundant luxury towels, there really was everything that I would expect in a top quality hotel. The leisure facilities were also very well appointed, with complimentary towels, a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi and all in a very pleasant soft lit setting. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The meal was probably just OK but for being included with the hotel booking it was very good value and perfectly tasty enough.

Filthy bedrooms and toilets for customers toilet rolls lying in urine on floor

The location was fine.

Cons:

I took my daughter and a friend off hers and as soon as we got to the hotel I found someone medication on floor behind toilet door luckily my child wa sold enough to not pick up and eat!! Carpet was mankie not even hoovered sofa bed had the springs coming through it and under sofa bed was filthy
