The girl working that day was exceptional kind and helpful.

Cons:

I was unaware that there was a flood that wiped out the entire first floor and pool. The first floor was full of black mold so having my 1 and 3 year old I did not want to stay there.

Wij kregen net optijd een vreemd bericht in onze inbox via booking met daarin het bericht dat ze niet 'open' zouden zijn voor ons bezoek en dat ze via booking onze reservering zouden cancellen. Ik heb het Hotel gelijk via booking gecancelled omdat dit nog net kon. Krijgen we achteraf ook geen gedoe. Wij hadden dit hotel al een half jaar vast staan om te bezoeken. En krijg ik op het allerlaatste moment een soort van cancellation. VREEMD.

Hotel was flooded
Pros:

When we arrived the hotel was locked up! All the furniture was in the carpark. It had clearly been flooded out with the recent rains. We were NOT notified of this and the booking was taken anyway.

Was a nice stay; a little pricy for what you get, but good location and friendly staff
Pros:

Clean, nice pool, comfortable linens, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good scent and quality of lotions and soaps provided. Coffee pot, fridge, and microwave, and blow dryer were convenient.

Cons:

I texted about extra towels and a trash bag over the weekend and didn’t have a response until I was checking out; also, it’s concerning that the air conditioning unit is leaking water or some fluid on the carpet in the room and u can even notice the paint on the wall bubbled a little bit near it.

Decent stay in renovated Wingate.
Pros:

Booked a two-bed room. Room was one king bed and a sofa -- not appropriate for our needs. Staff was able to find another room with two beds.
Breakfast was OK.
Staff was friendly

Cons:

Room 110 key lock didnt work well. Took several attempts each time for it to work. Staff reset the key cards twice -- same result. Housecleaning reported sane issue.

A/C output occasionally smelled like unwashed gym socks.
