The property was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from downtown Chicago, so getting to the main attractions takes some time approximately an hour. They offer complimentary breakfast each morning, which is decent but fairly basic. If you’re vegetarian, the breakfast options are quite limited. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind being a little outside the city center.
Needed to book two rooms for our son’s surgery at Central DuPage County Hospital (Northwestern) -his room for one night and ours for two nights. Both rooms had been nicely remodeled and were very comfortable. Did not get a chance to enjoy some of the amenities as both days were extremely long at the hospital . This is a great choice if needing to access the hospital-10 minutes away and an easy route. Juliet was especially wonderful while booking our rooms. Will need to be going back for itional surgeries and will definitely sit here.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Hampton Inn in Carol Stream.
For a hotel charging approximately $250 per night, the level of customer service is unacceptable. There was no one at the front desk when I needed assistance, and no one answered the phone despite my calling repeatedly for about 20 minutes from two different phones.
To make matters worse, my room was never cleaned during my stay, and the television does not work—it only displays “No Signal.” At this price point, these are basic services and amenities that guests should be able to expect.
Guests should not have to search for staff or be left without any way to get help. This experience has been frustrating and does not reflect the standards I expect from a Hampton Inn. I would not recommend this hotel unless these serious customer service and maintenance issues are addressed.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
1. The in room furniture was ugly and uncomfortable. It's obvious that they bought the cheapest possible.
2. The room keys kept getting erased. My party had 4 rooms
. Everyone of us, as well as other guests, had to repeatedly go back to the front desk for new key cards.
They told us to keep the key card away from our cellphone. I don't think the cellphone had anything to do with the problem.
3. No one attended the room where breakfast was given. Dirty tables. Styrofoam plates, plastic cutlery. Once again, the cheapest service possible.
It was very clean and comfortable.
At about 9am the housekeeping tried to come in my room while I was sleeping butt naked after they tried coming in the day prior to that when I got back early which is sketchy.
Easy, free and abundant parking. Clean facilities..
Big echo in pool area. Had to ask front desk for clean pool towels.

Room was perfect, the hotel not so much.
Main lobby under construction. What a mess. Facility didn’t feel welcoming whatsoever. For now for the price I’d go somewhere else.
Clean rooms
Someone went through our room, didn't clean.it. 1st time duffle bag was ope ed.2md time we left the ac was one, when we returned heat was turned up to 86. The food wasn't very good. Was told pool closes at 10, went out side at 1045 whole family in pool. Book a double queen room, was given 2 fulls.
Tv not working, phone not working to notify front desk so had to keep going down to find someone. Front desk person came up and she could not figure it out. Said phone and tv needed to be reprogrammed and someone would come in the morning. No one ever came. Also only decaf coffee available when went down for breakfast at 9:30. Was told it would go till 9:45. Room was great otherwise. Seem short staffed tho as several times had to go looking for front desk person.
