The room was a nice size and had a small sitting area complete with couch & a desk. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was larger than the average hotel room bathroom, & was even was furnished with large built-in containers of body lotion, hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo & conditioner. Most importantly, everything was immaculately clean.
The location is very good if you're interested in exploring Clinton. There are some nice views of the pretty foothills that surround Clinton, and there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant within walking distance, & the infamous Clinton Diner for a variety of delicious meals.
The bathroom sink drained very slowly.

My wife and I travel frequently with our dog. We expect to pay a fee at an advertised "pet friendly" establishment. The 75 dollar fee charged for our 8 pound dog was outrageous. This should be noted upfront before making the reservation, as we would have never considered staying at Hampton. It will certainly be the last time. The other item is the "free WiFi", which was free if I applied for a Hampton reward program other than that you had to pay. Having to provide additional personal information outside of what they already had for WiFi was ridiculous. We used our phones hotspot and kept our info to ourselves. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you are traveling with a pet.

Location was excellent. Very easy access off of the main highway. I also liked the Cracker Barrell within walking distance. It made it easy to grab something to eat and get some rest before continuing our trip.
The ice machine wasn't working. Other than that, no complaints.

I attended an event and came late and site was well lite and very safe.
We ate breakfast at the diner one exit up.

I loved the entire stay
The Breakfast was kept out later then most.
The side door didn't lock. The who;e place smelled like an ashtray. Didn't have the King bed I wanted. The price was too high for what I got. Room got cleaned once, kinda, while I was there.
