Convenient location traveling north from Fl
Our car was broken ago a few years ago on an overnight up the east coast.
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Facility was clean and conveniently located just off Rte. 17.
Difficult to open room door: Required moving the door lever up vs down and a good body slam against the door to enter Rm 203. Receptionist informed upon our departure. The AC unit rattled throughout the night. Could not watch the television because of poor streaming.
It was clean and the staff was friendly. It was also convenient to where I needed to go. The breakfast was good.
Great location, pool, cookies and popcorn , coffee 24 hours
Everything was fantastic accept the mattress was not comfortable
I was very pleased with the service. My room air conditioning made a screeching noise the first night and your staff came in and replaced the unit so my next two nights were very comfortable and quiet. Thank you! That will go a long way in my mind to returning to a Hampton Inn.
No room service
We’ve stayed here many times before and have always been pleased. Staff is friendly and professional and cleanliness is great. Comfortable beds and pillows.
My only downside this stay is I noticed the wifi kept dropping in the breakfast area. That’s never happened to me before at this facility and not that serious of a problem. Because of my age and my aches and pains, I wish this place had a Jacuzzi.
Location was perfect as we were on our way to the OBX.
The breakfast was ok. Not a fan of the potatoes. I should have tried the waffle...next time!
Breakfast
This hotel is relatively close to the historic downtown (5-7 minute drive). It offers a pleasant stay as it is for the most part clean, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and ready to help.
One disappointment was the breakfast which was fine quantity wise but not quality and variety wise. Edenton does not really offer many breakfast options so having a nice breakfast at the hotel would help. Another thing that I did not like was that they put a hold on my credit card for incidentals. I don't remember any other hotel using this practice
It was convenient to Edenton and Hertford.
The room had a foul smell to it. It seemed very like it was time to refurbish. For the price it was not a good value.
