Pros:

It was convenient to Edenton and Hertford.

Cons:

The room had a foul smell to it. It seemed very like it was time to refurbish. For the price it was not a good value.

Pros:

I fullly realize they were under renovation, but I would think that when you cannot even see out your window in a very small room, you would at least expect it to not cost $175 a nite. Seemed a bit ridiculous to me. Otherwise it was acceptable.

Nice getaway in edenton
Pros:

The room was very spacious and clean it had all the amenities that we needed and for just a quick overnight stay it was perfect. Breakfast was okay I guess for a hotel it was good but the lady that was in charge of that area was absolutely a delight so she made everything more delicious

Cons:

I really don't like carpet in the bathroom area so I naturally have to lay a towel on the floor because I don't know who is standing on it before me

Pros:

The staff was great but they had no clue how to use the room TV a guide would be a great addition. Found I had no replacement towel paper in the middle of the night. The rooms are old but they try to keep them looking good but our bathroom had a lot of dark water stains in the shower and sink. I think if these things can be addressed it’s a good place to stay.

Absolutely fine
Pros:

Very short overnight stay for us. We've always used this Hampton Inn as our default hotel in area. It is not intended to be a luxury experience, but it's absolutely all you need. Quiet, safe, comfortable. Good enough for me.

The stay was very good. Loved our room. It was very spacious.
Pros:

The breakfast was ok. We do like the scones at the breakfast. Can be a little more of a variety.
Otherwise ok

Cons:

The agent didn't recognize me as a Hilton member.
She was ok not particularly friendly.
