Aside from the pickiness pointed out above, the stay was fine.
Pros:

The room and temperature in the room was good. The remote control was easy to use and understand, unlike some other hotels I've stayed in.

Cons:

Only 1 ice machine in the building worked - on 1st floor. I know this cannot be helped sometimes, but as I overheard another guest say, "I paid over $200 for my room, so you'd think the ice machine on my floor would work." That was a good point. The pillows are uncomfortable to me; they are either too poofy or too flat. Also, the oatmeal looked unappetizing. That's what I wanted to eat, but it looked simultaneously gloopy and chunky - gross.

Pros:

When we arrived at 3 (check in time), we were told there weren’t any rooms clean yet. We had to wait an hour to check in. Then, when we got a room, the smell was awful.

FROM THE MOMENT WE CHECKED IN WE WERE MET BY KAYLA AT THE FRONT DESK VERY SWEET NICE YOUNG LADY , GREATED WITH DELICIOUS FRESH BAKED COOKIES , AND A SMILE ON HER FACE , THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE , THEY HAD WHAT WE NEEDED FOR SNACKS /DRINKS , THE LOCATION WAS GOOD CLOSE TO OUR EVENT .

Pros:

The lady at the front desk was a gem. Street noise and the other patrons were loud at times. The breakfast was great. If ever in El Dorado again, I will probably stay here again.
