Hampton Inn & Suites Houston-Cypress Station

Check in was great. We had a great room and very nice staff.

A bit of an interesting experience here. Overall it was okay for a short stay,however, the room I booked for my cousins- they showed up and there was a huge part of the wall open/ exposed… not clear how this was missed prior to check in, but someone came and closed it back up. The following day they found a roach in their room… the guy downstairs came and killed it for them but did not offer an apology or offer to change rooms…

Then in my room, the front desk guy called me one of the days while i was in the shower and demanded that a mechanic needed to come up and install some sort of bench in the shower. It was really inconvenient timing as I was in the middle of a shower anf also needed to get ready for a wedding. The front desk guy was not being flexible and stated that the mechanic absolutely had to come up at some point today to install this dumb thing in the shower. I’m still confused why this could not have been organized in between check outs while there is not a client in the room.

Overall, its okay but the hotel staff is a little odd and not the most helpful or flexible when issues arise.

The bed was comfortable and there was free fresh water and cookies in the lounge.

Great stay, very friendly and will go out of their way staff.
Special shout out to the manager Kevin who is very friendly, approachable and helped sort out any issue with ease.
This alone would make me come back along with it being a lovely hotel to stay.
When booking, one of the reasons for the hotel was airport shuttle bus which is no longer running but otherwise great stay.

Kevin the manager was exceptional. He was friendly and helpful and made a gift bag for my daughter's birthday celebration. The room was clean and had the things I needed to host my sleepover. The breakfast is good as well.

It was a great experience for me and my family to return staying at this great facility again. I have been staying at least three or four times every year since 2023. Although every facet of service was great, one person in particular was very admirable and exceptional in his amazing support. That was Mr. Kevin Pereira, who was fantastic in his welcoming, kindness, smile, continuous concern about our safety and comfort level by troubleshooting any issues of concern and seeking how to help in any way he could. This behavior was not new to me, but I have been experiencing this kindness every time that I stayed. Thank you, dear Kevin, and will see you next time soon!!
