No warning that hotel under renovation construction until we pulled into driveway. The place was dirty, smelly, covered in plastic tarps, and noisy. Staff were mediocre. Breakfast was mediocre.
Great location for Foothills Hospital, so could have lived with this if there had been prior notification, and if the price had reflected the poor conditions.
Hospitality ..breakfast ..update TVs ..too old ..only recommendation ..get new
Newer tv..air conditioning old
Pool not operating. And was the main reason for our stay. An email was sent out...but missed. A phone call with option of full refund would have been much more appreciated.
No pool. Sloppy renovation with cheap materials.
Location was ok. Hard to get into due to construction.
We never got to actually stay due payment issues. However, the front desk attendant was not friendly or helpful. Didn’t even try to accommodate our situation.
We are not party people or anything. We usually leave the room better than we got it. I will not come back to this establishment l.
Clean and friendly. Location is nearby train station, and University of Calgary
Swimming pool and hot tub
But the swimming pool in hot tub we're not available
Very happy with our booking
The pool was closed
Room was very clean, good value for the cost. Free breakfast.
Ceramic cups for morning coffee downstairs would have been nice.
Breakfast was not great no fruit. No real variety of muffins.
I liked everything: the location, the service, the staff, and of course, the breakfast.
Location to hospital
Construction
First off, I love the style of the hotel. It had beautiful character. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal. The room itself was very large larger than what I had expected and very clean overall feel was a fantastic stay and I would stay there with my family. I was originally there for work so the location was extremely convenient as I was performing some work at the foothills power station so it was a seven minute drive to work the next morning.
There’s absolutely nothing I would change about this hotel and I’ve spent a lot of time in hotels in my career.
