the stuff at the front desk and so on is nice although they have to fulfil strange policy from the management
we stayed now two times in a row with some friends there. Last stay the AC was quite moldy and the room extremely smelly - I would not accept this anymore - ended up with quite some health issues - although it can also come from something else. And: BE aware, the overbook the rooms and suites for the weddings. Than the talk you into some solutions that are not okay - ever what the can call an "upgrade" might be the trial to sell you an DOWNGRADE. Do not accept - we spend one night in the presidential suite therefor - they offered us a downgrade for the whole stay and a dinner for free (ridiculous) - but this comes from the management - the front desk stuff has to fulfil their orders. Be kind to them and firm to your booking.

Location
It was good experience yummy
All good
Great locoation and atmosphere
The hotel staff really look after your every need and are ready on beck and call .
Specific mention I would say in the housekeeping staff is Rahul Kumar who without hesitation and very joyfully attends to your needs .
And also the supervisior Dilip Kumar is really helpful .
Would really recommend to visit this hotel soley based on the hospitality provided by the housekeeping staff who are ever ready to listen to your every call .
Had a wonderful experience at The Grand. The property is beautiful, the hospitality is warm, and the staff ensures everything runs smoothly. The ambience and service truly make every event feel seamless and memorable. Highly recommended! ✨
Great staff, helpful cocktail bloke, food good. Very useful airport hotel. Same day omelette service would be an upgrade to breakfast, maybe using one of the chefs standing there doing nothing, also availability of second coffee without going on a hunt.
Loved the location and the hotel staff. The rooms size was good as compared to comparable hotels
Rooms were dated , all the furniture looked old and dated
The Grand Hotel in Delhi is easily the worst five-star hotel I have ever stayed at. Below are the incidents that contributed to this sentiment:
1. The hotel room air conditioning did not work. This was not limited to our room, as I heard multiple guests complain about the same issue. The rooms were muggy and difficult to breathe in, and the staff did not take action to fix the problem unless guests created a scene at the front desk.
2. The hotel had two elevators, one of which was broken for the entire duration of my six-week stay. I had to take the stairs to and from the fourth floor multiple times a day, and the hotel made no apparent effort to repair the elevator.
3. The toilet flushes did not function properly.
4. Housekeeping did not clean rooms thoroughly, failed to restock toiletries, and frequently ignored the “Do Not Disturb” sign.
5. Hotel staff were extremely slow in completing requests. I needed an extra bed placed in a room, but despite calling four times, I ultimately had to go downstairs and insist on action before my parents confirmed the bed had been delivered. I also requested assistance with luggage, but no one arrived, so I handled it myself. These are just two examples among many.
6. The room phones on the entire fourth floor did not work.
7. We requested air purifiers for the room; however, broken units were delivered, and the staff did not replace or repair them.
8. The staff were incredibly rude. When I went downstairs to report issues, staff members looked at guests dismissively and appeared to treat hospitality concerns as a joke.
9. Nearly every time I passed through the lobby, another guest was arguing with staff about a complaint. This seemed commonplace, and staff appeared trained to dismiss issues by offering a free meal or coffee rather than addressing root problems.
10. There was a clear lack of internal communication among staff. When requesting a manager, I had to spend significant time re-explaining the issue. After checking out of one room, the hotel attempted to charge me for an additional night because staff had not communicated internally that my family had consolidated into one room after refusing to pay for two.
インドではとてもいいホテルという感じで売りに出していると思いますが、大したことありません。ですので、あまり期待せず。充電ケーブルを指しても使えなかったり、、チェックインであまり大した説明もされなかった。
