Pros:

I really love the pool at night

Cons:

I left my headphones and a souvenir in the room and I haven't been able to get hold of anyone to find out if it was found. I'm disappointed because they belong to my daughter

Great value and great location.
Pros:

The rooms are big and the beds are super comfortable. It’s our new favorite downtown hotel. The parkade is really conveniently located-you can drive up to the lobby without having to go onto the street-a small but convenient feature! The restaurant within the hotel has really good food-had both dinner and breakfast. They also had the most luggage carts I think I’ve ever seen at a hotel so there was always at least 5 available.

Cons:

Pool area isn’t as large as it looks online but still reasonable.

Great Stay In Calgary
Pros:

Second experience at Hyatt Regency Calgary. Everything went very well. Great service and room on the East side of the building was very quiet. Breakfast in the Regency Club offered a good variety and was well done. Excellent stay!

Overpriced
Pros:

Over priced, charge for breakfast after we were told it was complementary ended up paying over $300 for just one night. Hardly any parking available for a truck and had to park in a very sketchy location as they do not offer any parking that’s not under underground

Great hotel in the heart of the city
Pros:

An excellent hotel in the heart of the city. Close to everything with indoor walkways to the convention center and several other areas/hotels. The train stops right outside and it's free in the downtown core. Amazing pool and hot tub with views of the Calgary Tower (highly recommend after dark). Family friendly and lots of fun!

Everything is great!! Love the Club lounge, can get fresh coffee or tea 24/7 😃We sure go back.

Horrible sleep
Pros:

First when I walked in the room it smelled almost like a burning smell. It was not pleasant. then I asked for some non-down pillows as I’m allergic to feathers they brought me two pillows, and one of them was still a down feathered pillow, so I ended up with one pillow instead of two on my bed, which was annoying for watching TV. I was there for business and working late till 3:30 in the morning and at 6:30 in the morning, I was abruptly awoken into a large bang right above my bed. This continued on every couple minutes for the rest of the morning when I went down and complained, they told me that the gym is directly above my bedroom. I paid extra for a corner room as this site says this is supposed to be a quiet room away from the elevators and you pay extra for that when I complain the next morning all they did was give me $50 off the $200 room service bill that I had. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere next time

Happy with our stay
Pros:

Hotel was in a great location, rooms were nice, big enough and had everything we needed. Staff were very accommodating as well. Only downfall, which wasn’t their fault at all, construction made accessing the property a bit of a challenge but will definitely be back!
