Perfect location!
Pros:

Best location! You can walk to everything like resto and shops. Calgary tower is across few mins walk and Stephen ave lots of resto to choose. Our room is big and spacious and had view-tiful view at night. Very close to c-train station. Bfast downstairs and have very good steakhouse also. Highly recommended when you're in Alberta especially if you have a day tour to Banff.

Overall great location and very fun stay!
Pros:

Lovely room with great facilities. I appreciated the filtered water!

Cons:

A bathtub would have been nice. It was also a little noisy from the street, probably due to stampede bars open late, you could hear music and also the train from the 15th floor so just be mindful. It wasn’t crazy loud but noticeable. Also would be great to be able to chromecast to the tv

Not as good as I had hoped.
Pros:

Perfect spot for going to Calgary Stampede and watching the parade. The on-site restaurant , Thompson’s, was ideal for breakfast with good food and waiting staff were dry attentive.

Cons:

My daughter and I are both about 5’4” and we found the beds were too high and not as comfortable as they could have been. I felt that I might fall out of bed at any time. The bath was also very high for climbing in and out.

Pros:

The staff and proximity to stampede. The manager (Jun) was very helpful.

Cons:

Club lounge food and swimming pool facilities were for children and unable to access due to this. Good if you're travelling with kids but not for relaxation or swimming due to 5/6 kids at a time bombing in pool and hot tub.

Pros:

Great hotel, with many thoughtful touches you do not find at other hotels - filtered water, a clock set into the bathroom mirror so you can keep track of time, and a magnifying mirror on a stand for us older ladies. The concierge was so nice and took it upon herself to come over and offer her assistance while I was sitting in the lobby. She was fantastic!

Cons:

Constant music in the evening until midnight from nearby properties. Then, once the band finally stops, you hear the sound of the C-train. You do not want a room on the North side of the hall, unless you are in a room on a higher floor.

Pros:

The room, facilities and location were really good.

Cons:

They tried to charge me 50 CAD to check in early despite it only being 2 hours before check in.

They also charged me a 100 CAD 'cleaning fee' which was in the small print but a ridiculous additional charge when I paid 893 CAD for my stay!

Great Hotel and Outstanding Food
Pros:

What an outstanding experience at this hotel and at Thompsons restaurant. You have to try the Bison with Blueberry demi-glaze while it is available!

Beginning point for our adventure

Pros:

Easy to get to and very friendly staff.

Cons:

For the cost, I thought the towels could have been softer and more plush and the rooms could use more sound proofing so you don't hear everyone else coming and going and flushing the toilet.
