Not the same
Pros:

With the new terminal, the convenience of the hotel has completely gone away. Waited for the shuttle for 20 mins and called the hotel to even see if it ran and no one answered the entire 20 mins. Room smelled and when picking up the phone to complain it was broken making weird screeching sounds. The QR code for room service brought me to a random YouTube site. I was too tired to walk down and even complain. The morning breakfast Buffett had stale bread, and mass produced egg sandwiches which were definitely all reheated from days past. The waitress was very polite but too much to overcome. The hotel has really let itself go and with the inconvenience of the new shuttle, I will be not be staying again.

Nice surprise located on airport
Pros:

Was in area as a globalist and visited this hotel for first time. It has all the perks you need as a biz traveler w pool, full exercise equip and restaurant/bar. Clean efficient and an upgraded suite.

Pros:

The room was clean and spacious. I liked the make up mirror in the bathroom. The closet was adequate for 2 people.

Cons:

There was no microwave in the room. There were no drinks available in the vending machine. The room above us sounded like someone was dropping free weights on the floor.

Have to Take Shuttle - Walking No Longer Possible
Pros:

I paid a premium so I could walk to/from and save some hassle. I was disappointed I had to wait 20 minutes for a shuttle and cannot walk there (any more).

Pittsburgh Hyatt is a disaster
Pros:

Hello, this is the second time I have stayed at the Pittsburgh Hyatt regency in two weeks, arriving near midnight. First time they gave me a room that hadn’t been cleaned (dirty bed, trash). This second (and last) time, they overbooked and gave away all of the reservations and so at midnight we were scrambling to find a room, as they could t find one for us, said we were on our own, and then said they would refund us the night at this hotel, like it was such a bonus that they would give us back the money for the room that they had cancelled.
Really??!? What is happening to Hyatt? This with the devaluation of their points means I will be turning now to other places for future stays.
What would have made this better is if they had been prepared, called local hotels and reserved rooms in advance, comped the rooms and arranged transportation. The employees seemed absolutely lost and without leadership or direction.
I am very disappointed in what used to be a reasonably good hotel.

Great airport stay
Pros:

Great hotel stay for flights in and out of Pittsburgh International Airport. The shuttle service is very convenient. Hotel has a nice clean sent, beds are fantastic. There is a farm to table restaurant on site, however we did not visit so I am not able to comment . I would stay again especially for the redeye flight.

Thieves amongst the staff!!!!
Pros:

I left my airpods in my room. I immediately left a message on their lost and found voicemail because I couldn't speak with a real person. Nothing! Upon my return, I spoke with the front desk at the hotel showing them screenshots of the location of my airpods. An employee never turned them in to lost and found. My airpods have been traveling back and forth to work at the Hyatt for days now.
