The staff is incompetent, especially the receptionists, who seem to have a mindset designed not to be helpful. The rooms were not delivered as I had reserved them (single bed vs. double bed issue). You request corrections for the negatives. When you ask them to call a taxi upon departure, they look at you blankly as if they've never encountered such a request before. The restaurant is physically inadequate. The variety of food is very limited and tasteless. Compared to the hotels I previously preferred in Medina due to their proximity (Hilton, Oberoi), I had a very bad experience.
