Pros:

Clean quiet and great location

Cons:

Bathrooms are tired halls where freezing cold soaps where impossible to pump out. Lighting is terrible . Low wattage bulbs and 8 lamps you had to turn on or remember how they where turned on. The desk doesn’t have 1 modern plug in or switch.

Great stay
Pros:

Great hotel! The room was very clean. The hotel staff are amazing. The breakfast was delicious. Very close to many sights, restaurants and shops. I plan to stay here everytime I visit NY. Highly recommend.

Pros:

Struttura pulita e ben tenuta, personale cordiale, buona la posizione vicina a più linee della metropolitana, molto apprezzabile la possibilità di avere snack, caffè e frutta h24.

Cons:

Attenzione alla colazione inclusa nel prezzo: è solo continentale e non c’è la possibilità di avere uova nemmeno se le chiedete. Nelle camere non c’è il frigobar e i bagni sono piuttosto piccoli.

Really great - looking forward to returning.
Pros:

A return visit and as good as before so will come again in the future. Location excellent for all parts of Manhattan and the subway, buses (and walkable to most parts of the central zone). Nice spacious suite and staff available but unobtrusive.

Cons:

Lifts a bit slow/busy in peak times , they really need a service lift but appreciate adding one retrospectively nigh on impossible in an established building. Its not too far from a major hospital so sometimes in the night a few ambulances with sirens wailing pass by but not a major issue if the windows closed, and you're in Manhattan anyway so not going to be countryside quiet anyway.

Pros:

La habitación muy cómoda, espaciosa y silenciosa. Cama enorme y súper confortable.
En el comedor de la entrada siempre hay algo de fruta, café, barritas, dulces, agua…la verdad que se agradece, te hace sentir como en casa.
Desayuno rico y continuamente reponiendo lo necesario. Las chicas del desayuno muy agradables y hablan español.
El hotel está muy bien situado en medio de todo pero en zona tranquila.

Cons:

El desayuno es siempre igual: bagels, huevos duros, fruta, croissant, bebidas y dulces. Quizás podrían ofrecer más variedad de platos calientes.

Pros:

This hotel is a hidden gem! It's perfectly located between downtown (Statue of Liberty, et al) and Uptown (Central Park, Natural History). The rooms are spacious and housekeeping is diligent and thorough. We had a king suite so DS could sleep on the sofa bed. It was already prepared for him when we arrived! Such a nice touch. They have blackout shades which are essential in Manhattan. The hotel provides a more than adequate continental breakfast, including coffee/ tea and snacks to provision you until lunch. The dining area is in the main lobby so you get to visit with the other guests, if you like. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had unlimited water too. The Hotel arranged transport to and from LaGuardia which was a load off our shoulders. We highly recommend and would definitely stay at the Hotel Giraffe again. Enjoy your Manhattan adventure!

The Best Place To Stay
Pros:

We are repeat guests and will keep coming back. Everything about this hotel makes it a great place to stay. Great rooms, great breakfast, and great service. We got a great rate by booking directly and taking advantage of an on-line sale.
