Great food and location
Great times at the Corner Pub with local musicians, along with excellent food. The service staff was incredible! Always smiling and genuine. The room was spacious and comfortable..Breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful!
Room was a little stuffy but they came thru providing a lovely fan.
I arrived at 6:00AM, the hotel was full so I couldn't check in. However, they brought me coffee and made sure I was comfortable in the lobby until breakfast was served. They made sure that my room was available as soon as someone checked out early. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely upholstered headboard and comfortable chairs. The public spaces were lovely with comfortable furniture. They had a nice breakfast menu with many options to suit most people. The staff were all kind and so helpful.

Poor facilities, stayed in junior suite and not even a pencil supplied to fill out breakfast request.
No slippers or gowns either and only a shower no bath.
Stayed for 2 nights and drove from wicklow. The only electric charge point was used up as a parking spot and could not charge my car the whole stay. This was very dissapointing as these other cars were only parked and not charging.
Very dissapointed that they would not put on the Ireland international rugby game on the Saturday, cannot understand this.
We had a wonderful stay at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms were clean and well-appointed. The lobby and restaurants, there are three on site, were busy with activity all evening adding to the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel is in a great location with great shopping, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay
They layout was a bit confusing at first and getting our luggage up and down the steps was a challenge. In the furture i would specify the need to avoid steps.

Everyone (all staff) was exceeding kind and welcoming.
The breakfast was not really satisfactory to me. If you don't like the 'Full Irish' type of breakfast there's not much of a choice (I like nice Coffee and freshly baked bread etc).
Thankfully we were able to find beautiful food at The Well , just across the street - great Food and excellent Coffee - and cheaper that the breakfast whic was on offer for €15.00.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice also.
Our shower faucet didn't work. The staff didn't know about it ahead of time, so I can't fault them for that, but it made showering tricky. We let them know, so hopefully it can be remedied before next people come.

Bathtub difficult to get into and out of.
Ate dinner in Poets Corner and it was lovely. The room was clean and exactly what I needed. Breakfast was excellent with no difficulty in changing out the brioche to gluten free toast etc. Would be happy to stay again.
Nothing to report here - I don't think they have control over the weather and that was the only downer.

I frequently stay at the Old ground and I love it every time I visit. The new lift is much more efficient but I am nostalgic for the slow clanky abience of the old one
Couldn't be better. The cooked full breakfast has slipped from outstanding to just excellent. I missed the baked beans
