Teure Massenabfertigung statt Regenwalderlebnis

Kaum etwas, wir waren kurz dort. Das Personal war aber stets hilfsbereit

Cons:

Wir sind extra ins Gamboa Rainforest Reserve gekommen, weil wir uns ein besonderes Regenwalderlebnis erhofft haben. Rückblickend war genau das für uns die größte Enttäuschung unserer Zeit hier. Für das, was geboten wird, sind die Preise unserer Meinung nach völlig überzogen.

Für drei Aktivitäten haben wir für zwei Personen rund 190 US-Dollar bezahlt. Dazu gehörten unter anderem das Faultier-/Naturerlebnis mit Schmetterlingen, Fröschen und Pflanzen sowie die Gondelfahrt zum Aussichtspunkt.

Besonders enttäuschend war die Gondel. Die Aussicht oben ist schön, keine Frage – aber dort verbringt man vielleicht fünf Minuten. Die komplette Tour dauerte bei uns inklusive Weg, Fahrt nach oben und zurück gerade einmal ungefähr 30 Minuten. Bei dem verlangten Preis ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht nachvollziehbar.

Auch das Schmetterlingshaus war eine riesige Enttäuschung. Wir hatten zuvor das Schmetterlingshaus in El Valle de Antón besucht und waren dort begeistert – wunderschön und wirklich ein Erlebnis. Das Angebot hier konnte damit für uns nicht ansatzweise mithalten.

Die große positive Ausnahme war die Monkey-Island-Tour. Die war wirklich sehr schön. Wir konnten die Affen aus der Nähe erleben und besonders die Interaktion mit ihnen war toll. Von den Aktivitäten, die wir ausprobiert haben, ist das mit Abstand diejenige, die wir empfehlen würden. Andere Angebote wie beispielsweise die Zipline haben wir nicht gemacht und können diese deshalb nicht beurteilen.

Leider zieht sich das schlechte Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch durch das restliche Resort. Restaurants und Bar sind extrem teuer, weshalb wir empfehlen würden, höchstens das Frühstück mitzubuchen und ansonsten außerhalb zu essen.

Beim Frühstück fanden wir besonders den Unterschied zwischen Wochenende und Werktag bemerkenswert. Am Wochenende, als deutlich mehr Gäste im Hotel waren, gab es eine wesentlich größere und attraktivere Auswahl.

La atención del personal de recepción, de limpieza y de los restaurantes fue muy buena.

Cons:

Por ahí las comidas no tenían la variedad deseable en el menú a la carta y en el buffet también la faltaba más variedad en la sección de carnes.

Pésimo Servicio al cliente, falta de mantenimiento, mi hija tuvo Cortadura por uso de la piscina, personal demoró más de 4 horas en llevar toallas, la comida bufet malísima y a la carta no vale lo que se paga, mosquitos insaciables, pisos rajados, no hicieron, limpieza a la habitación. Óxido por todos lados, estructuras en muy mal estado

אין אלטרנטיבה טובה באיזור וכל החוויה באופן כללי מאד טובה, לכן מומלץ מאד אבל כדאי להנמיך ציפיות.
Pros:

לקחנו פנסיון מלא כי ידענו שאין באיזור אלטרנטיבות. היה רעיון טוב, האוכל בסדר גמור ויחסית משתלם.
הצוות מדהים ועושה מעל ומעבר, במיוחד איריס וצוות ההסעדה, גם במלון עצמו וגם באטרקציות שיש לו להציע. הנוף מטורף ושווה את החוויה בסופו של דבר.

Cons:

הכל מלא כוונות טובות אבל הביצוע צולע. המלון ענק ומיושן ומאד קשה לתחזוקה וזה בא לידי ביטוי כמעט בכל חלק בו. החדרים יחסית מיושנים, כל איזור הבריכה ממש זועק לריענון וגם כל הלובי והכניסה עצמה.

המעבר דרך העיר העזובה ממש קריפי ומלחיץ אם לא יודעים מראש את הסיבה לכך.

El alojamiento está ubicado en medio de un parque natural por lo que la naturaleza es increible. Nos hicieron un cambio de habitación cuando se lo pedimos. El hotel ofrece excursiones.

Cons:

El hotel está aislado totalmente. No hay nada que puedas hacer cerca si no es contratando las excursiones del hotel (y no son baratas precisamente).
De inicio nos dieron una habitación malísima (con olores y ruidos), tuvimos que pedir el cambio (que sí lo hicieron).
Las excursiones son carísimas y poco interesantes. Los animales no están sueltos en la naturaleza. Tienen un centro de recuperación de perezosos muy chulo pero, para mi gusto, convertido en un negocio. (Si fui es porque me habían vendido otra cosa).
La piscina es una guarrería. El agua está completamente verde y llena de bichos.
Claramente es un hotel que ha vivido sus años de gloria y han dejado de mantenerlo. Nada recomendable.

Experiência inesquecível
Pros:

Adorámos a nossa experiência no Gamboa Rainforest Reserve. Tivemos a oportunidade de fazer um safari noturno (uma cortesia do hotel) onde conseguimos avistar vários animais nos seus habitats naturais. Foi, sem dúvida, uma experiência incrível. Outros pontos fortes a destacar são a enorme simpatia de toda a equipa, a excelente zona da piscina., e as diversas opções de comida.

Cons:

Infelizmente, o hotel encontra-se num estado algo degradado e necessita de alguma manutenção. É pena, pois tem um potencial enorme para ser um alojamento excecional.
