Clean & comfortable
Very noisey, near main road & busy traffic light intersection
The apartment was clean and had all the amenities required including washing machine and dryer. It had a patio overlooking lovely tall palms for that tropical feel.
Close to airport.
Felt unsafe to nearby locations. Had to remove our own rubbish. Looked old.
The apartment was very spacious and set up to be very comfortable and relaxing. There was a lovely balcony with a table and chairs. Everything was clean. We were able to open the doors to outside and just use the room fans as we didn’t need the air conditioning.
It’s a 5 minute walk to Dunwoody’s Pub diagonally across the road for an easy meal.
It was our first time trialing a property outside of the main central area, which didn't disappoint. Even though you are a 20-25 min walk from the city centre, we preferred to walk around or uber if late at night. We had a two-bedroom apartment. If you are sensitive to street noise (cars, people, sirens) etc, you will need to have the other bedroom as our apt faced directly onto the main street - Sheridan. Personally, it didn't bother me, but be mindful when booking. And the noise is louder if you keep doors and/or windows opened.
For the money, it was great. However, there will come a time very soon when the owners will need to spend some money on updating. Bathrooms need a makeover. And perhaps the furniture needs to be fresh and new. It doesn't affect the stay but if you prefer modern and new, this place isn't for you.
