Worse hoter ever.
Pros:

The worse booking I made, room carpet was stinky and durty! With a smell of pee! And it wasnt the bathroom it was the actual room, the stool in a corner off white color was durty. Walls edges with pain peeling off, windows frames same, matress was bad. Room is extremely small. Overall, i would not rented or recomended to anyone!
Booking should make audits for the hotels that are listed in your site, if you can sleep in this hotel it advertised then it sd be listed.
I didnt stay,
I check out inmedialy and rented another one instead!
Monterey owner sd audit their property and upgrade and remodel it

Spring Getaway
Pros:

We use Valet Parking for convenience, but don't use the in and out feature. We walk everywhere once there. Only took an uber back to the hotel after dinner one evening. Street noise is a little noisey outside the rooms. Staff is friendly enough. Some more than others. Alvarado Street, Fisherman's Wharf, and Cannery Row are all easily walkable.

Lovely hotel and great location
Pros:

We loved this hotel! Such friendly and helpful staff! Our room didn't have air conditioning and I'm not sure if any do, in case that is important to anyone. The location is amazing! You can walk to the ocen, shops, and restaurants.

A pleasant place to stay near the Convention Center
Pros:

I was in the handicap room in the newer wing. There was an elevator to the upper floors at the Calle entry where luggage can be unloaded. The front desk was down the stairs from the Calle entry. There was a neat electric stair platform that you got onto and it glides down the stairs to the desk level with a staff member operating it. I only used it once during check-in. Used the Calle entrance to come and go. I have a handicap placard so street parking was easy. There was a bottled water dispenser of hot and cold water near my room. Convenient for making my tea in the morning and for filling my water bottle. Bath towels were fluffy and white. There was a pull down chair inside the shower to sit on.

Cons:

Not enough strategic safety bars in the bathroom by the shower entrance. Nothing to hold onto while entering/ exiting the walk-in shower and slipping is easy. A small table/chair in bathroom for holding a robe or clothes, or bath towel while drying and changing would be helpful. Upholstered room chair seat was bottomed out and I had to sit on a pillow to use it. Bed pillows need replacement as they were lumpy, not particularly soft, and hard to use. and be comfortable. A different kind of window shade would work better than the current one.
