The rooms were clean and a good size for the price. Staff were super friendly and helpful all the time. The location was great a short walk to cafe's and easy to get into the city.

This hotel is conveniently located between Syddney Central station and Redfern subway. The room was clean, but don't expect reception to speak any Spanish (Hacienda). There is big lobby to meet prople and work.
Tjere is street noise in the night so bring your earplugs. In the room there is no single chair or cupboard for your stuff.
Location is great as it's a short walk away from Redfern station and also the bars and restaurants in Redfern. The staff was very lovely and friendly and the lobby has a nice homely feel. The bed was comfy and Wifi was great.
If you're a light sleeper this hotel is not idea for you as you literally face onto the train tracks so it's very loud with trains passing by every 5 to 10 minutes. Definitely bring earplugs! Rooms are tiny, which didn't bother me as I was only staying for one night, but may be a bit tricky if you have big bags and are staying for a while. There were a lot of stray hairs in my bathroom which was a bit icky.

Location is near a train station. Not much in the immediate area.
There is a train track right behind the building so constant train noise. The rooms are sound proofed to a certain extent but you can definitely hear the trains.
