Hotel Delfin PV Beach Resort

Great view, easy access to many restaurants, pharmacies,and OXXO right next door. At night I listened to the sound of rolling ocean waves, and no other unpleasant noise, like traffic or after hours party noise. If the doors to balcony and ocean view are closed, there is no noise at all. The cleaning staff was very friendly and responsive. All in all , a very pleasant stay. I will come back, and refer others as well.

Great hotel awesome pool BUT the guy in charge is HORRIBLE believe the bad reviews! Lots of pool chairs free which should not happen BUT this guy is beyond militant about moving chairs and 1 towel no exchange? He is a creepy weird guy always chatting up the young women! He plays LOUD WAY TOO LOUD MUSIC so people hate it at the pool. Ruined the entire time there!

This is going down hill. Dirty, AC not working, staff was rude, toilets were clogged and no one ever extended a courtesy of anything. Won’t stay here again.

If I could give this hotel a rating of 15 out of 10, I would. We just returned from a week stay at the Delfin in the Adult tower facing the Bay. First off, the staff were amazing and the view from room 82 top floor rivaled any we have been in around the world. All the rooms are renovated, air conditioned and our balcony was large. The bed was very comfortable and room was equipped with a safe and minifridge. The housekeeping staff were fantastic, and they even came again in the early evening to replace towels, turn down the bed and made sure our stay was perfect. Bertha was our concierge and she was very professional, welcoming and friendly ensuring our stay was the best ever. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and treated us like family. This hotel's location is perfect and in the heart of Puerto Vallarta romantic zone. Beachfront of this hotel overlooks the Los Muertos Pier and there are many excellent restaurants, shops and live music all within easy walking distance. Sunsets from the balcony are spectacular!

This property is exceptionally located by the beach but it’s not adults only. They have one row of rooms that are but the rest of the hotel is full of noisy, screaming kids. They were out all hours of the night. If you want peace and quiet; don’t stay here.

We stayed on the side that was not all inclusive and it was great for us. No children in the rooms or the pool which made for a relaxing time if you are travelling without children. The pool was great, the beach was nice and the room was clean and spacious. Would stay here again without hesitation.

I stayed in the adult only side. The room had great views of the ocean. Cleaning staff refreshed room daily if needed and gave 2 water bottles for coffee or for drinking needs. Bed came with 4 large pillows my only complaint was the bed was hard as a rock, it was a hard spring mattress with maybe a 2in foam on top which didnt help. I didnt mention it to staff but if anyone is expecting a fluffy bed beware of the beds. The adult pool staff were attentive to bringing you drinks and food if needed. If you go to the beach they have chair and umbrella rentals. The location of this hotel was great near many restaurants and vendors nearby.

Loved the location and have stayed here twice. I highly recommend the adults only building junior suite. I did have one issue this time, after spending a week at the hotel and spending/tipping there, I was shocked to find out they charged us $500MX for the loss of one of our card keys…….ridiculous (and they weren’t nice about it). If it wasn’t for the poor service at checkout we would have rated them better.

We loved the pool and the view from our room. The room size was large and comfortable.

We knew we were getting a cheaper resort but this one really is one to avoid. The food is particularly terrible, almost like they went out of their way to make it plane and off unfortunately. The staff was kind, but there were so many stipulations and rules - they wouldn't run ice to the room, nor was a hairdryer provided automatically, you had to go to the front desk for everything. It felt quite unclean in the eating area and often birds would be picking at left over dishes outside. It was cheaper than the surrounding area as far as all inclusives go, but we ended up eating out all the time anyway.
