Amazing location
Pros:

What an incredible location! Right by the St Michel metro station and near so many great restaurants and Notre Dame. A perfect spot for exploring Paris and so easy to get to from the airport train. Staff were friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable.

Superb location - great little hotel!
Pros:

This hotel sits one street back from the River Seine and literally 3-4 minutes walk from Notre Dame.

Check in was very easy and pleasant - the staff are all lovely and chatty. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the street below with a view of the river too. Nice. Nearby you have both the underground line and the main line that runs down to the Eiffel Tower / Airport.

Also in the immediate area are so many restaurants and bars - lots to choose from.

Onto the room itself - average sized, nice comfortable beds, tea & coffee facilities and decent storage. Bathroom small but functional with added toiletries.

Overall, a great little hotel in a FANTASTIC location.

Cons:

Only a few minor things -

- the hairdryer is a wand type thing with a hose - it's weak and not very hot. I'd prefer a regular hairdryer please.

- there is one mirror in the room and its on the bathroom door so if you're sharing and one of you is showering the other person cannot get ready. An additional mirror on the wall would be very welcome.

Pros:

Hôtel Albe is a great location and a comfortable stay. We were very pleased with the accommodations which were comfortable. The staff were helpful, pleasant and always welcoming. The room was clean.

Cons:

It’s important to know we were in a double room and we knew what to expect. I’m sharing these potential downsides and how you might over come them. Really, the hotel was fantastic for what it is. Because the hotel is located centrally, and very close to Notre Dame Cathedral, Cluny Museum, and other well known attractions, you expect to pay a higher price, even in off season. Even so, the room was very small. Be prepared to have no more than carry on luggage and stay very organized with your things to make your stay pleasant. The room may also be a little noisy from the street. Nothing a pair of earplugs can’t solve.
