They are a little slow to respond to some infrastructural problems. For example our toilet paper holder was missing after house keeping and they didn’t replace it despite us submitting a request at front desk

Small and skylight was bright and woke up Real early . Wish there was a window that had a curtain cause I couldn’t sleep. Said there was a free breakfast and there was none

New Orleans can be very different
Pros:

Location, location, location... The location is in the heart of the city and close to both the entertainment and business centers of the city. This explains the choice of this hotel. The staff is very friendly.

Cons:

Sure, the hotel is located in an old building surrounded by eateries. The mattress should have been replaced last century as it was completely collapsed in the center. There was loud noise of kitchen or hotel operations well past 0300 hrs (3AM)at night. The room we occupied was 208.

Very central position, close to both French quarter, garden district and the Mississippi River but quite compared to the more touristic areas. Room was small but comfortable and cozy. Staff was always kind and supportive when needed
