The property is secluded and surrounded by jungle. It has a small beach that’s only accessible to hotel guests, but it’s not safe for swimming. The rooms are large and reasonably clean, though they’re outdated and would benefit from renovations and upgrades. The water in both the room and the pool is salty. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the views from the pool area are stunning.

The most romantic beach ever. Filled with happy lovers from all around and now they have added a new restaurant menu to go with a really good chef.

We visited Punta Serena In November of 2023 for our 7th time. At the end of this 14 day stay we marked 75 days at this resort since our first time in 2010. We travel a lot throughout the year but save November for Punta Serena. We had a regular sea view room, the same as the previous year, and it was just perfect. Close to the main part of the resort. The room was comfortable and clean. The A/C worked well and the bed was perfect. Weather in November is perfect for us and the reason why we return at this time of year. The food was very good and because we stayed so long the chef offered to make off menu options for us as the existing menu can get repetitive. The beach was clean and the water was warm and a lot of fun to swim in. The beach bar is excellent and having lunch on the beach is still one of our favourite things to do there. We found the resort to be in good repair and we are still amazed by the views and setting even after so many visits. For a lot of the stay there were only a few couples on any given day. One night it was just us. It was like having our very own resort. The staff got to know us and treated us wonderfully. We finished our two week stay with the Naturism weekend. This started on Thursday and made the resort a lot busier. It was a lot of fun with buffet offerings in addition to the menu in the dining room and a live band on the Saturday night. We feel that this was our best visit yet, everything was perfect. We are already booked to return in November 2024 and this time we are bringing friends from home with us. They have heard us talk about this place so much they want to try it for themselves.
