Dangerous Bait-and-Switch: Do Not Stay Here

Location & Misrepresentation
This hotel is a total "bait and switch." The photos on Booking.com show a property next to the Grand Synagogue on King George St. In reality, this hotel is located on St. George in East Jerusalem. As a Jewish family with small children, being intentionally misled about the neighborhood and safety of the location is disgraceful and dangerous.
Room Condition & Safety Hazards
Structural Issues: A large section of the ceiling was falling in with visible mold.
Hazards: Sharp pieces of metal were sticking out of the walls, and tiles were missing in the bathroom. The smoke alarm was covered in tinfoil—a massive fire safety violation.
Security: The windows did not lock, which is terrifying when staying with three-year-olds.
Cleanliness: The room reeked of cigarettes. Carpets, couches (which were ripped), and the shower were filthy and covered in mold.
Amenities & Service
The "Essentials": We were given 2 tiny towels for 3 people. The TV didn't work, the thermostat was broken/disconnected, and there was zero coffee or basic amenities in the room.
Staff: When I arrived, the parking gate was locked. No one answered the intercom. I had to carry two babies and our luggage around the block just to get in. When I asked staff for coffee while they were making some for themselves, they flatly refused.
Breakfast: Inedible. Just dry sliced bread, old jelly, and "coffee" that was clearly caffeine-free.
Verdict
Disgusting, unsafe, and fraudulent. Do not trust the photos or the location description. This place is a health hazard and a scam.

The staff are extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Superb location close to good coffee shops, restaurants, and Old City.
While the rooms may be on the slightly older side, everything works well. My room was spacious, had a small deck, and small refrigerator with a stove top.

המיקום של בית המלון טוב, קרוב לעיר העתיקה, וכמו כן החדרים גדולים .
דבר ראשון הניקיון ובמיוחד במקלחת על הפנים, וכמו כן הריהוט מאד ישן וקרוע, בנוסף לזה החדר זקוק לשיפוץ באופן מיידי, ובמיוחד הצבע, וגם התיאוריה מאוד חלשה והטיליזיה לא עובדת. והכי חשוב אין חניה לרכב.
ery very poor service i have never experienced that kind of ugly hotel before. one window won't close properly anyone can come from this window if needed 😂. very very very disappointed 😞😞. my booking is with breakfast included but they don't serve breakfast.
