Very enjoyable and would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

We were very happy with our accommodation and the location was very peaceful. The restaurant was very nice and the food excellent. It was good having the 'formal' restaurant and the cafe where it was possible to get take-a-way food.

Relaxing weekend away with beautiful views and good food.
Pros:

Comfortable, 4K Foxtel on tv for sport, complementary biscuits, chips, wine, water. Dilmah tea.
Relaxing bar and lounge.

Cons:

Water saving shower, we understand but just couldn’t wash my hair in water pressure.

Deep fried broccolini, would have preferred beautiful steam greens on bar and lounge menu.

Pros:

Die Zimmer (ausser dem Bad) sind neu eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine (und einen Safe) im Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant ist top.

Cons:

Die nächste Investition geht in ein neues Badezimmer, welches nach Auffrischung der Zimmer nicht mehr mithalten kann. Hellhörige Zimmer (wir fühlten uns aber nicht gestört durch die Nachbarn).

Beautiful location
Pros:

Great location. Wished had time to try the pool The little patio outside our room was lovely.

Cons:

Our Waterville room was a little dated, the block could do with a more regular paint job. Basic kitchenette amenity in room was adequate though I suggest you add a small measuring jug/bowl plus proper small continental mugs & a small chopping board and a cutting knife. . It was difficult for me to make up my specialist breakfast without a bowl/jug. Also tea cups are too small for a decent hot drink. Also think the menus choices are not very imaginative, same old Aussie pub grub in bar and over priced breakfast.

Pros:

Het hotel heeft een mooie ligging aan de baai. In combinatie met een restaurant en bar en zwembad , heeft het veel potentie. Het is er lekker stil slapen, dat wel. En o ja, de oesters komen direct van de nabijgelegen oesterkwekerij en zijn super lekker!

Cons:

Het personeel is voor het grootste deel jong en onervaren (want goedkoop) en weet basale vragen niet te beantwoorden. De foto's op de website zijn van de voorkant van de kamer en dat ziet er op zich aantrekkelijk uit, maar de steeg aan de achterkant die toegang geeft tot de kamers is redelijk unheimisch, niet schoon, slecht geverfd met een openstaande meterkast, etc. In de kamer zijn de gordijnen te laag opgehangen en dan ook nog te 2 cm te kort (geen gezicht). Het keukenblok en de onbegrijpelijk kleine (want de kamer is verder heel ruim) badkamer zijn zeker twintig jaar oud, met zichtbare aanpassingen en aan het lot overgelaten boorgaten en plintjes. Allemaal reuzige slordig en gedateerd.

Het restaurant heeft beperkte kaart, maar wat er uit de keuken komt is goed eetbaar.

Waarschuwing: bestel geen Campari of Martini Rosso in de bar. Dat werd in SA aangemerkt als sterke drank. je krijgt niet meer dan 3 cl, maar je betaalt wel de volle prijs. Het hotel kan er wellicht niets aan doen, maar het viel toch vies tegen. Dan maar verder met bier en wijn waarvan onder dezelfde wetgeving tegen schappelijke prijzen, net zo veel kan nuttigen als je maar wilt.

Cons:

There were plumbing issues in our room, kept waking us up during the night with terrible loud noises coming from the bathroom. Then the tap seemed to be struggling to get water pressure and would spit out water and air. We requested new towels for the second night which we never got. We had an issue with the restaurant, undercooked steak and small meal sizes for the price charged. The restaurant staff dealt with this well. Service in the dining room was slow and unattentive, we had to ask several times for drinks, meals were slow to come out and it wasn't that busy in the restaurant.

Pros:

Mooie gerenoveerde en schone kamer. Heerlijke welkomstsnack!

Cons:

Het eten viel tegen zowel het ontbijt als avondeten. Kwalitatief maar ook de grootte van het ontbijt vonden wij wat beperkt voor wat je ervoor betaald.

I would not go back to this hotel
Pros:

We upgraded our room which was lovely.
The location was remote. Nothing near it for food other than the hotel and a restaurant nearby that was awful.

Cons:

They advertise wildlife on site which was not true. The direction for the nature trail were not accurate. When we pointed it out they said they would have to tell management. The front desk had very little info to help answer questions. The choice of breakfast was limited and poor.
