Beautiful, spacious rooms in a great location. Short walk to the city across the bridge. Rooftop bar is also nice option for a drink before heading out.

We didn’t do the breakfast it was the same price as the Stamford Plaza Hotel and we wouldn’t have the lovely outlook of the Stamford

The location and room size with baths are always a stand out.
We booked specifically because the hotel offers 24/7 room service, as we were going out for the night and wanted to eat when we got back. At no point were we told that wouldn’t be possible, when we called down to order as the web link wasn’t working we were on hold for 10 minutes on the room phone before we called a different number available at the front desk. The duty manager told us that there was no food happening as it was closed. Fully understand that things can go wrong but it was really disappointing as it was the main reason we booked this hotel again. Duty manager was very dismissive.
My room was like entering the 1970's, not in a good way.
This is 2026. What decent hotel that charges 2026 rates has shower curtains in the shower, and a shower over the bath what's more? The said curtain would stick to me. It was also hung on the rail in such a way that exiting the 'bath' was a task in itself.
There was no heating in the room.
There is no storage in the bathroom. The water pressure is pathetic.
The curtains would not shut properly for those of us that like darkness while sleeping.
The works that were going on started way too early in the morning for those who wanted to sleep a little later.
The experience at the Point Hotel was such that I will never stay there again.
