Pros:

Loved the almost art deco_ish feel, the rooftop eating, wouldn't want to be at a restaurant downstairs, the view, the closeness to everything.

Cons:

The cost of carparking

Pros:

Great price, convenient, and a quiet location. easy access to town. nice rooms. plenty of parking.

Cons:

The misting water-saving shower heads are terrible. Please get rid of those. Second time staying in this hotel and they are the worst shower heads I've ever experienced.

The spaciousness and cleanliness of the room.

Cons:

Nowhere to park the car other than in the hotel carpark and this was 25 dollars on top of the hotel charges.

Disappointing
Pros:

Good room rate and convenient to the city.

Cons:

We’ve stayed here many times and have always enjoyed this hotel.
Unfortunately it’s undergoing renovations and they seemed to have dropped the ball with the basics. On entering our room we immediately noticed worn carpet a musty odour and dated furnishings. Our bar fridge wasn’t working and it was obvious that it hadn’t worked for some time. (In Fairness we were offered another room, which we were unable to do as we were on a busy schedule and had already settled in. They did provide us some ice buckets to chill our drinks which was good)
When we booked it indicated that the pool was closed but it was open, should have brought our togs! On booking it also didn’t mention that parking is now $25.
All in all our stay was disappointing as we know how good this place was and will be🤞
