The location is great and staff were excellent and helpful. The kitchenette is a bonus and the room is spacious..

Cons:

The property is in need of maintenance and cleaning from the reception to the room . The bathroom was in need of a complete refurbishment. That would have been acceptable if it was clean. Everything was dirty, the mirror ,the blind,the bath tub the floor. The toiletries were excellent quality but ther were broken tiles on the bath surround. The door stop was missing and the silicone around the bath was smeared 30mm up the wall. There was no TV remote in the room and when I went to ring the desk the phone didn't work. Once I had gone down to reception the problems were rectified quickly. The staff were great.
The kitchen sink was greasy.

Location excellent, however the price doesn’t reflect the quality.
Pros:

Perfectly located to the numerous shops and restaurants, ideal if disembarking a cruise as within walking distance. Staff were extremely friendly and kindly allowed us an early check in. Fantastic air con and bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

As other guests have mentioned, it is in dire need of an upgrade and is quite expensive, but due to the location, it’s probably on par with other accommodation. We chose not to shower as the bathroom was very rundown and the carpet was marked and needs replacing.

A great, well-priced option close to Circular Quay and the Opera House
Pros:

We've stayed here before and will stay here again - we love the location and the beds were super comfortable! Staff were friendly and it's very quiet which was great for a good night's sleep. We like it for its proximity to the Opera House, our destination for the evening. It's an easy walk through the Rocks down to Circular Quay.

Cons:

The hotel is a little dated and worn out. We don't mind this, however - it's pretty good value for money!

Central location in The Rocks
Pros:

Superb location in The Rocks, very close to restaurants and landmarks. Parking was underneath and reasonable for 24hr for location. Room was sizeable and very quiet.

Great location, 3 star hotel charging 5 star rates
Pros:

The location is fantastic and the apartment is large.

Cons:

The rooms were probably built in about 1980 and have had very little work done to them since new. The toilet is a single flush 12 litre, the shower taps operated backwards, there was a broken soap dish over the bath. The room safe did not work until the batteries were replaced. The TV did not have access to catch up TV, Kitchen cupboards were tired, and the door lock to the balcony was broken so to secure the door a hook had been fitted.
