Loved it and would stay again in the future
Pros:

Have stayed here previously and were seeing a couple of shows at the Opera House. Proximity to the venue was within walking distance as well as eateries and bars/pubs. Unit was self contained for longer stays

Really bad creaking floorboards, cupboard doors that didn’t close properly, I know it’s an old property but these things can be fixed without changing the character of the room or the building

Location in the Rocks area was fantastic. A short 5 minute walk to the cruise ship. Room was clean. Food close by.

Pros:

Right in the centre of the rocks, beautiful views.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Room was large, great balcony.

Cons:

Very limited on tea, coffee and milk.
Some kitchen utensils missing. Eg: no forks. Felt like they may have missed stocking up upon cleaning room.

Pros:

The hotel location is perfect! The front desk staff were wonderful. There was a semi nice view from the room.

Cons:

The rooms are very dated and could use some attention. The carpet looked old and worn and dirty. The living room furniture was nasty! The love seat and comfy chair were dirty and we wouldn't sit in them. Also, the strange note about closing bathroom door while showering or paying a huge amount if you set of the alarm was ridiculous. Same with cooking. Not really enough pots and pans to actually cook.

We expected better
Pros:

The hotel was very dated, the carpets did not seem clean, we had a queen bed and the beds kept falling apart so there was a gap in the middle, the bathrooms were dated. The reception staff were nice, the hotel swimming pool is a joke. It looks tremendous online but when you get there, it’s tiny. The location is amazing..

Outdated, putrid, filthy floors and walls. No power socket except near the floor. Bath room sink full of hair. No cooling
