Parking is an inconvenience and I had to walk in circles inside hotel to get to my room. Also there was dirty towels on the closet

Air conditioning was broke got moved to a room without the same amenities and the air was still broken. No full clean each day I stayed. I had to keep going to front desk for towels and sheets

Great value for money
Pros:

The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The swimming pool was in good condition and the hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast was also a highlight!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay at the Hyatt House in Houston was extremely disappointing. The room was in poor condition and clearly not maintained to the standards I expect from a Hyatt property.

The bathroom mirror was separating from the wall, the soap appeared used or damaged, and the furniture had visible tears and punctures. The bedspread had stains, the walls and window frames were chipped and poorly repaired, and the blackout shade didn’t even cover the window completely, letting sunlight in early in the morning.

To make matters worse, I found what appeared to be dead cockroaches on the carpet next to the bed. That alone raises serious concerns about cleanliness and pest control.

The TV casting system was also frustrating and difficult to use, adding to an already unpleasant experience.

Overall, the room felt old, neglected, and not properly cleaned or maintained. This is far below the standard I expect from Hyatt, and I would not stay at this property again or recommend it to others until significant improvements are made.

The grossest hotel I’ve ever seen
Pros:

It was absolutely filthy from lobby to room. This hotel was disgusting. There was grease all over the head board, dried up cheese on the bed, dirt and crumbs throughout the room and lobby as if the hotel doesn’t have a vacuum. The phone was encrusted in grease and dirt. I called to have the room actually cleaned and the person said they’d make the bed.

The cherry on top was when I saw people doing drugs at the front entrance and reported it. 0 reaction. I ended up having to call the police myself.

This was a disgrace to the Hyatt name. If a franchisee, you should rescind their FA and if a company store shame on you.

Ps we have stayed at Hyatt’s across the price range globally. We are seasoned travelers.

Ok room for the rate.
Pros:

The room was clean and everything looked done when we arrived.

Cons:

The TV had 7 white spots on it. The tile in the bathroom seems as itf they will pop out.
