Elevator broken. Hotel had a smell. Nice big room.
I honestly can't even believe this is a Hyatt. From the gangs of young people roaming the parking lot to the scary parking garage, to the halls and the filthy carpet and sofa, it was just awful. It used to be nice, but needs to be remodeled. I arrived late with jet lag or I'd have just left. No hot water, housekeeping was great, comfy clean bed, but I wouldn't walk on that 20 year old carpet without my shoes or sit on the sofa, and the air vents were gross. It does not seem like a safe place either. I'll never go back or recommend this dump AND am not likely to ever book a Hyatt House again. The name obviously means NOTHING.

I like the strategic location of the hotel. The eating area is spacious and clean

The area is not noisy.
The hotel has no telephone line working, making it very difficult for international customers like me to reach out to the hotel. Even the hotel's email services is not effective.
The cleaners don't clean the rooms very well. There is poor supervision on the cleaners. In addition the walkway to the bedroom smells of dog urine.
The breakfast served is delicious, but must have different menu for each day. The food is one- way through out the whole week. There are times I have to go out to eat a different breakfast. Does that mean if I stay there for 2 weeks I have to eat the same breakfast for 2 weeks. Think about it.
Finally after landing from a 17 hours flight with 2 heavy suitcases feeling very exhausted, I have to carry these heavy suitcases to the room on my own. There was no assistance whatsoever. That's not a good customer service experience.
If you're in your room and want to reach out to the receptionist, you have to come out and walk all the way to the front desk. Please please please improve on these things.
The room was cozy for the most part
The garage...guest were hanging out in the garage smoking weed. Definitely not what I expected, but the experience was ok.

I liked the size of the room and it was clean.
I didn't like that I was charged every day for parking. 1 flat rate would have been great especially considering the condition of the parking garage, it self. Only 1 elevator was working. Which meant walking a very long way to the room, to the front desk, to the parking garage. The parking on the 3rd level didn't have any lights. The blinds in my room were older and probably should be replaced. The door seals weren't secure enough. If someone exited or entered the room next to me the door would move as if they were actually entering our room. They weren't of course, but it still is startling. The phones were completely down. You couldn't call from your room and you couldn't call into the hotel from the outside line either.( reason for the long walk to the front desk) A huge safety concern! The breakfast didn't have enough variety for me. I know everyone doesn't like pork, but turkey sausage should not be the only choice. The whole milk should be available as well. I was also surprised that waffles weren't a choice, just bread! I traveled with a child, so those little things matter.
Nallely, Amunda, Nika, Francisco da Estraden, all the stuff were very helpful and even allowed us to move from room to another room in order to find room the match our needs, few things should be improved which renovated the property interiorly at least, the breakfast time should be like the Hyatt Regency Houston West which allows the breakfast window time to 11 am, and the internet service needs to be improved.

This property is poorly managed with many amenities out of service. Very disappointing with this Hyatt House. It did not meet basic Hyatt House standards. It’s outdated and poorly maintained and managed. The room is not clean, carpet and sofa is very dirty. Stains on walls and doors. Several bathroom tiles are cracks, bathroom sink and AC unit make loud noises, unable to have a good quality sleep and rest. It charges hefty $25 per day parking fee and not worth the value. Very disappointed and felt unpleasant. Will never stay here again.
