Great place to stay with 5-star staff while in Iowa City!
Pros:

Room was great and large. Bed was comfy. Staff gets 5 stars from me and my wife. Tasty hot breakfast and bonus pasta dinner was great for travelers to University of Iowa Hospital when you have health issues to worry about keeping costs low is important.

Cons:

The ONLY issue we had that I forgot to tell the front desk about was the bathroom door hinges need oiled because it squeaks when opening and closing. Woke me up when the wife closed and opened door in the middle of the night but with such a nice comfortable bed, I was able to get back to sleep ok.

Very clean rooms was not disappointed

Cons:

We were on the 2nd floor, and someone above us on the 3rd floor kept bouncing on the ceiling. That was only complaint

Cons:

Cold shower 1 of 2 mornings. Both entry cards had to be reprogrammed every reentry for the entire stay.

Convenient location & good value

Cons:

Stain on one of the comforters.
Difficult to make left turn onto rte. 6 out of hotel parking lot. Needs nightlight in the bathroom. Parking spots are configured oddly.

A pleasant stay in a clean friendly environment, plenty of restaurants and other businesses nearby.
Pros:

The breakfast was good (primarily the convenience) , several good choices and my wife loved the vanilla steam coffee

Cons:

There were a few tiny ants in the room, enough to notice but not enough to be a problem
