Comfortable stay in great location
Pros:

Great location - very central with beautiful river views and a nice pool. Perfectly comfortable rooms and they arranged a bike rental for me. Nice to see glass rather than plastic bottles for the water in the room. I was on the river side and had no problem with noise from the nearby bar.

Cons:

As has been noted, Century is looking very tired. Revamping the whole property is a huge undertaking, but in the meantime there's no reason why a few minor improvements couldn't be made. Little things like a set of dumbells in the gym and towels available by the pool would go a long way. And surely it can't be this hard to keep breakfast food warm for at least the first hour or so!

Rooms need improved
Pros:

The location and the staff services- they are exceptional.

Cons:

The room itself. It absolutely need to be taken care more throughout. We stayed there in 2016 and it left us with "WOW" experience, both in rooms and services - So much so that we chose this hotel again 10 years later albeit there are many more newer, better hotels. However, the rooms 10 years later have been deteriorating too bad. Seems like the maintenance has not kept up as expected.

Ein wunderschöner fünftägiger Aufenthalt in einem außergewöhnlich schönen Hotel
Pros:

Es war ein sehr schönes Hotel, im älteren Stil, aber mit viel Charme.
Die Poolanlage war sehr schön. Der Speisesaal mit Terrasse hatte einen traumhaften Blick auf den Parfümfluss. Das Frühstück war auch aussergewöhnlich gut.
Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Blick von unserem Zimmer auf den Parfümfluss und die Brücke, die abends immer die Farben wechselte.

Cons:

Es hat uns alles gefallen, es gab keinerlei Kritik.
