Rien à signaler
Great spot and beautifully fitted out cute playground next door for kids. Cafe at front is amazing and looking at the boats was super cool
We were fortunate to have one of the most popular Anchorage rooms available .
An amazing balcony overlooking the marina, the adjacent beach and Port Stephens in all its beauty.
Staff were efficient and very courteous
Boom gate remote control to undercover car park somewhat awkward to access when entering from the street
Die Lage ist phantastisch, das Hotel bietet einiges.
Das Personal z.T. unfreundlich und desinteressiert. Obwohl vielleicht zur Hälfte belegt, von der Lage das schlechteste Zimmer bekommen.
The location was fantastic and styling of the development was excellent. The attention to detail was first class and the rooms were spacious, well executed and very comfortable.
Breakfast service and selection were what you would expect from a hotel at this level.
Serving fruit and ice pops pool side on a hot day is a great touch.
Housekeeping ensured everything was spotlessly clean but did not actually make the bed on one occasion and left a used face cloth on the floor.
You shouldn’t have to pay for a Barista coffee at breakfast.
The ambience, food, staff, facilities, location.
The pool should be cleaner, showers should be added to the pool area.
Breakfast exceptional, food in general excellent, but let down by indifferent service by some members of staff, requested sauce/gravy / drinks did not arrive on several occasions. Household staff excellent, rooms cleaned quickly and efficiently to a high standard. Ground staff very committed and happy to inform about plants and surrounding areas. Noisy neighbour, faulty plug and discoloured hot water dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Some dining staff indifferent and orders did not arrive even after a further request. No milk by tea/coffee station so long trip to and fro to cereal station. Toaster either burnt or didn’t brown toast. Very long wait for main course - 35 minutes, so dined elsewhere in the evenings.
Breakfast was very accommodating huge variety of choices. Staff excellent
More ramp access for elderly for people with mobility issues, some place's a little challenging.
Easier access to the children's pool and more shaded areas around the pool
The room was very comfortable with a great view. We loved the pool and facilities, especially the breakfast buffet. We ate dinner one night at The Galley and absolutely loved the Lamb Shoulder for two, as well as the entrees and desserts. We sampled cocktails by the pool and at the restaurant, all of which were excellent.
There was nothing we disliked. We had a really wonderful experience.
breakfast was good and the views are fantastic
room was very noisy, when people of the adjacent rooms have a shower or bath the water noise coming from their bathroom was unbearably loud, wether you were trying to sleep or watch a movie it felt like a freight train was coming through your room, had a drunk guest by the pool with a foul mouth, the more she drank the louder she became and the worse her language, but the icing on the cake was when she was in the pool and telling her partner that she was using the pool as her personal toilet, at that point i left in disgust, at dinner at the galley restaurant i found the service average, one of the waiters offered to bring us the dessert menu and then just disappeard, i was disappointed with housekeeping didn't vacuum the carpet in the lounge room over the four days i was there
The hotel is stunning and in a beautiful location. The staff were lovely and attentive. We had a wonderful stay with our family and stayed in a beautiful loft room which was perfect for our 2 young kids who shred the sofa bed tve adult bedroom was upstairs. Sitting on the balcony was wonderful at any time of the day. We most certainly will be back.
Overall we loved our stay however there were a few small things that we would expect to work better at a high end accommodation like the Anchorage. When looking under the sofa bed it was really dirty and there were random items like crackers and socks from previous guests we found. When we asked for a late check out we could only get an extra 30min which was fine but when room service came they had not been told of this. At various points the staff seemed a little bit disorganised even though the were absolutely lovely. None of this will stop us from coming back and we loved it just a few things to iron out.
Location
All of the stairs not good for disabled. Food was not good. We had signature dishes and the fusion food was not good on either end of spectrum. Sauce was weak and seafood frozen and not fresh..very expensive for a sub standard meal even the desert cake was frozen
Probably the best hotel in Port Stephens/Nelson Bay. The views are stunning, and location is prime. Would stay here again.
Nothing.
very comfortable and relax
Buffett breakfast very nice except for the coffee was dire
Pool and spa not heated on cooler rainy days
Coffee machine at breakfast terrible as was the bar made coffee
Room service food not delivered with covers was a bit cold for the cost
