Für einen mehrtägigen Besuch in Cairns empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Gute Lage, die Night Markets, die Lagune und das Shopping Center sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch der Bahnhof für den Zug nach Kuranda ist per Pedes in 15 Minuten erreichbar.

Cons:

Im naheliegenden Park fand am Freitagabend ein Open-Air-Punk-Konzert statt, dem man auf dem Balkon kostenlos beiwohnen konnte. Die Band hatte allerdings noch reichlich Luft nach oben, aber um 22 Uhr war dann endlich Schluß.
Frühstück vorhanden, aber wenig abwechslungsreich. Pool ist recht klein und der Gemeinschaftsgrill war abends oft überbelegt.

What we needed for a short overnight stay
Pros:

Room was basic and dated but met our needs well. Didn’t try the breakfast as early departure. Close to shops, an easy walk

Cons:

Having to pay $3 for pool towel hire. Please take your own towels.

Good value, great location
Pros:

Accomodation is fine for a short stay. Great value, clean & spacious rooms. Good location close to the waterfront, restaurants & shops. We choose here as the airport was only a short drive from hotel.

Pros:

We stayed for 1 night. Accommodation is fine for a short stay only 10 mins by taxi from the airport.

Cons:

We requested a quiet room and were placed on a corridor with a school trip. Doors are very thin so you could hear everyone coming and going.

Good value, clean and spacious room. Great shower and friendly staff. Opposite a nice park. About a 5-10 min brisk walk into town. Family friendly.
