The bed could have been more comfortable & the air conditioning was a little loud.
The awesome staff!
Nothing
Everything in one place - room, dining, slots and gift shop. Parking close to elevator.
Spent a few hundred dollars on slots - not once in 3x sitting at a machine was offered a comp drink. Saw a couple of cocktail staff on the floor, but basically was ignored when sitting at the slots for longer than 5-10 minutes. This is not the normal or expected experience while visiting Reno gambling facilities. Is the trend NOT to offer any booze unless you are at a card or crap table? Or a High Roller? Also - extra long distance to assigned room - this was on us I guess. Husband is disabled and should have requested a room near the elevators. Bathrooms were also very tiny, hard to manuever around the door and the toilet. Room was dark and window opened to the pool area - causing a lack of privacy during stay.
The casino
The door to get into the room was cracked toward the bottom, which made it easier to hear the noisy hallway outside of our room. The room was dingy and had an odor of previous dogs who had stayed there. The smell made my dogs uncomfortable and took a long time for them to settle down. Also, the parking lot was too far away from the rooms. My husband had to make 3 trips to and from our car to bring in our things. They did not have any carts available for him to use. It was just an unpleasant experience for us.
No breakfast offered. The staff was nice. The facility was smoky. I didn’t anticipate a smoky environment. I probably should have I was in a casino hotel in Nevada. The room was small compared to other hotels. I didn’t care for having to negotiate the gaming floor in order to get to the hotel elevator but that’s probably by design - they want you to stop and play.
No smoking would have been nice. Also I would have liked the morning staff to be more knowledgeable about highway 80 construction times. No one seemed to know if the construction was overnight or just starting in the morning. Most guests would be driving - I’m guessing- so knowing traffic conditions would be a good thing.
Went to the casino part very low payouts lost a lot of money put $300 into a machine and didn’t even get bonus . Several machines were like that lost 900 in two hours was not having a good time at all will never return …. Didn’t see a whole lot of winning or happy faces at all.
