Pros:

Comfortable stay but needs improvement.
Pros:

Great location in a beautiful setting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of activities like the indoor swimming pool and games rooms to keep kids ocupied. Many good food options in one place.

Cons:

Getting charged 5 star prices for a 4 star facility. Getting charged $15 p/d extra for parking even though there isn't any available. Getting tea/coffee in the room with no spoon to stir it. Very limited TV channels and getting charged an extra $35 to watch movies. Can't connect to chromecast to watch your own either. Technician never turned up. Carpets very rarely getting vacuumed.

Would not rebook this resort again. Over priced resort and need to pay for absolutely everything in the resort.

The ice skating rink was the only good thing about the hotel.

Cons:

My stay at Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains was unfortunately disappointing overall.

Service was inconsistent — we had to repeatedly request basic items like towels, and at one point there were no pool towels available, with staff needing to go and search for some. The washing machine facilities were also unreliable; one machine took payment but didn’t work, leaving us without access to laundry during our stay.

The school holiday activities were also underwhelming. For example, we paid for a cookie decorating session, but it wasn’t well organised — parents ended up doing most of the work with their children rather than staff leading and engaging the group as expected.

Dining options were limited, with a small menu and food that didn’t quite meet expectations.

Overall, the experience didn’t reflect the standard we were expecting, particularly for the price and reputation.

Over priced, not clean, not 5 star, beautiful area to visit.
Pros:

Area is beautiful, grounds are nice. Lovely town Leura nearby.
Staff on reception were very nice.
Lovely lady worked in the casual restaurant part and said she worked there for many years.

Cons:

Very tired property. Badly needs new carpets and rooms desperately need an upgrade. Stained couch in room, damaged chair. Room not very clean at all. Asked for a clean cup/mug but was told they just usually rinse them in the sink and don't replace. Generally not a clean hotel. Dirty trays left along corridor outside rooms for many hours. Very poorly staffed. Hotel was extremely busy but definitely not enough staff. Tables not cleared at breakfast or dinner time. Even if staff were bringing a drink to the table, most did not have the intelligence to remove dirty plates.Definitely not 5 star. Very expensive for the standard it is and crazy to then have to pay to park. Very much geared for children and families.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Very nice pool and facilities for children. Fabulous views, nicely set out and a very good breakfast. Staff seemed very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The fan in the bathroom did not work resulting in everything in the bathroom being soaked after people showered.
There was broken glass on the bathroom floor and some of the hallways needed vaccuming.
The bath had gouges out of the floor of it with imbedded dirt and was very slippery with no bathmat.
The curtain needed to be rehung as part of it was loose.
The fridge froze the milk overnight.
The pool tables cost $3.30 to use and the parking was $15. I got the distinct impression that if they could have worked out a way to charge us for breathing in and out they would have happily done so. Given the price being charged per night I felt ripped off.
