screaming children everywhere, in the restaurant, the hallways, the "adults billiard room". Inescapable all night long, so noisy. It was like being in a cheap ski lodge during school holidays (it was not school holidays). We really had no sleep.

Pros:

The early check-in was very efficient and easy and the room was comfortable.

Cons:

I booked for dinner on Sunday night for 7.00pm. in the Fairmont's restaurant We arrived at approx 6.55pm and were shown to our table. We were immediately provided with water but then had to wait, UNSUCCESSFULLY for in excess of 20 minutes for any further attention from the wait staff, despite making eye contact with the waiter who had shown us to our table. Also, it appeared that tables that were seated after us were giving their drink/food orders while we bided our time. This was totally unacceptable to US, so we left. It certainly coloured our opinion of The Fairmont.

Pros:

Place is nice; pretty quiet at night, though it’s a little far away from town. Many kids were there and they seemed enjoyed. Staff were friendly and parking was easy. Free parking can also be achieved by following some steps on a certain website and scanning a code at front desk.

It was a wonderful stay at Fairmont. Excellent facilities and activities for family.
