Absolute chaos and management have lost control
Pros:

Nothing. School holidays and out of control. Staff do nothing to control the chaos and the corridors where the rooms are are a playground for all the kids

Absolutely beautiful stay enjoyed it thoroughly

Xmas decoration could have been set up day prior but all beautiful
Food was fabulous overall
Sublime dinner was hit and miss. We came a few years ago and found the same. Some dishes have an Indian influence and it doesn’t translate. The spatcock was dry and not crispy or juicy.

Cons:

Spa wasn’t working
Music for Xmas in July was disappointing
No Xmas music and live music was late and was a very unusual pick.
Definately a down point to a beautiful theme and lively Xmas food

Don’t bother.
Pros:

The swimming pool and children’s indoor play area made this stay passable. Breakfast okay, included coffee poor.

Cons:

1. Booked a room for 4 people (2adults2kids). But only given 2 towels. For the price you pay, these little details count.
2. Front of house staff didn’t know of hotel activities. Asked if they were doing anything special for the Socceroos game at check-in and was told no. Then received text information later on to say that they were doing a special screening.
2. Barman at the 2 Doctor whiskey bar, mimicked by husband’s Irish accent when he asked for a pale ale, didn’t serve him and walked away.
3. Agreed to the ‘skip the clean’ offer but the savings only extended to food&beverages not other resort activities, like the kids train ride. So got no benefit from skipping the clean as you are asked to pay when at the different bars/restaurants.
