Beautiful resort with many great facilities for kids. Character filled and very welcoming. Love the fireplaces in the main foyer. Breakfast buffet was a favourite. The grounds are beautiful. Loved our stay!
I say this as constructive criticism as we really did enjoy our stay. I had issues with my bathroom sink which kept blocking up for no reason, this meant I couldn’t wash things properly and made it feel unclean. They had to unblock it twice during my three night stay. The pipes made a lot of noise those first two nights also so maybe there was a bigger plumbing issue.
I noticed small pieces of rubbish around the place that weren’t cleaned up by house cleaning - rubbish behind the couch in the room from previous customers, and also in the carpet in the kids play areas I noticed over a few days which meant they must not have vacuumed for a few days.
Staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!
Beautifully presented, helpful kind staff, lots of. dining to choose from
Not enough activities for children on a weekday . Most of the facilities or activities are mainly on a weekend stay. Water pressure in showers was not good.
The staff were cheerful and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The meal we had in Embers was also very tasty and well presented.
It’s overpriced for what it is, kind of trapped in the early 2000’s and hasn’t improved very much since then.
Fantastic location with beautiful surroundings it was clean and comfy. Staff were very accommodating.
They have so many extras for the families and children and they were all closed during the week this was super disappointing as there were so many children there whilst we were there.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and located in a beautiful area in the blue mountains close to multiple hikes and lookouts.
The staff are really good, great customer service and very friendly. Reception was particularly helpful.
The property is looking worn and tired, especially in the public areas. Requires an investment in serious maintenance or a major overhaul
Mountains, facilities, escape away from city noise everything.
Ice skating. So there is no supervisor for ice skating support. My kid can do herself but still there are new kids and my younger one wanted some support but unfortunately it’s all at your own risk. With such a big facility, I would highly appreciate and expect to have official attendants ready to help on ice in case of accidents juts like we have pool safety guards. It was a big drawback.
The resort had great facilities, including a pool, golf course, restaurants, and a bar. It was easy to relax without leaving the resort. Although the building is older, it was clean, warm in winter, and very comfortable.
I could hear the water pipes when the room next door used water, which was a little distracting. It would also be nice if the facilities stayed open later than 8 PM.
Old architecture centrally located, peaceful and scenic attached with golf course
Not very well maintained, requires renovation and upkeep, current state is kind of run down and very crowded
Lots of activities to keep the kids entertained
Lots to do.
Main areas were well maintained
There was no entertainment for adults. More spaces for children. The rooms on level 1 had poor ventilation. Would recommend only courtyard and rooms with balcony. There was a carpet smell I. The corridors on level 1. Cushions on couches in rooms were old n’ dirty. There is shower over tub in rooms. Water not draining properly. Had water up to my ankles when showering.
