Room service was very disappointing. We ordered coffee which got delivered after 45 mins and bread toast was cold, raw and not even toasted at all. After 11 am, there was not even an option to order bread toast for room service.

Friendly concierge and hostess at breakfast check in , great view and walks
There was no food service at the bistro after 6pm on both Friday and Saturday night on a busy weekend, only Embers was open which required a booking. Room service took well over 90 minutes and thats only because after 60min I called only to be told they had received the order but forgotten to accept it. Had to call several more times to follow up as it didn't show up in the time they advised it would, then got called to say our order would be refunded, only to be called again by a different staff member to say they would refund the food but not the drinks.
The pillows were like flattened pancakes, the mattress was so worn out you felt every movement and the bed slid on the floor every time we got in and out.
Exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working so bathroom fogged up
We loved the location and check in points for 50km ultra run. We booked hotel for this convenience of getting shuttles and pit stops. The hotel had lots of eating places, pool, spa, walking paths. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
The rooms are a bit dated. Need a bit of maintenance, carpets cleaned and walls painted. Cafes and golf club food was all a bit the same unfortunately. Haven’t tried Embers yet. Tariff Pricing was expensive and had to book 3 nights due to running event on at Katoomba.
The facilities were great and we used the indoor pool. Room was large and very comfortable. Grounds were enormous and if it hadn't been raining it would have been a good walk for us. Staff were brilliant.

The availability of facilities, views and fire place in restaurants
AI chat on WhatsApp was useless. Nothing ever came from my replies to its messages to me. Check in we asked for early check in, AI said it will get someone to contact me to let me know if it’s possible, received nothing, when we did arrive early we were told we would be called when room was ready, never received a call.
Staff did sterling work in difficult conditions due to the influx of the ultra athletes and families

The hotel needs painting and cleaning . The food needs to be better . The pool facilities should have a shower so people using the sauna can clean off before getting into the pool .

May I also suggest that people bringing kids into the dinning facilities are reminded at the front to control their children and not allow them to run around throwing food onto carpets .
Enjoyed the facilities on the grounds - the slide, cinema and gardens - the sunset views were amazing
The indoor pool area was very well used and appeared dirty - particularly the pool water - we all got sore eyes and ear infections
Staff were very helpful and accommodating room was perfect for our stay
