Night staff
Excellent stay all around. The customer service was top-notch, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the extra amenities made the experience even better. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about their guests. Highly recommend and would gladly return.
Location is perfect for walking downtown
Getting older
Drake at the front desk was wonderful and so helpful! and the wine hour and bourbon hour and happy hour plus dinner and drink credit are really cool too!
Now I'm loathed to leave a negative review but here we are. I have platinum status with IHG. This was not recognised at check in which isn't the end of the world as I do find it a bit cringey when they thank you for your loyalty. On checking in I requested a 2pm check out. Which on the day of check out I verified, and it had not been actioned. Now I was only able to get a 1pm check out which caused me to have rearrange my plans. Quite inconvenient.
My room had a lot of road noise, quite considerably dark, opening the curtains meant the offices next door could look straight into my room. The heating in my suite did not work, or was entirely inadequate for its sole purpose of heating the room. I informed reception of this issue who promised me it would be sorted out. It was not. So was rather cold in a large suite.
My keycard stopped working at midday which required FOUR trips to reception from my room to rectify wasting another 15 minutes of my time. All in all this was my worst stay in any IHG hotel in the world. I would say maybe it's a Kimpton thing as I prefer staying in Intercontinental's but the Kimpton Bloomsbury in London is exceptional. I suspect it's this hotel and its rather lackadasical approach to their customers. Others have seemed to enjoy, and good on them. I'll never stay here again, and my next trip in a week to Canada has been switched from IHG to a competing chain based solely on this experience.
Also only one lift works! Genuinely a shambles of a hotel, very poorly run. No doubt there will be a generic feedback statement after this apologising and offering to reach out. To make it better... for all concerned, I'll just stay somewhere else..
I felt ostracized. I’m gay and it was obvious they don’t like gay.
To my fellow family, find a property where you are welcomed.
We had a great stay thanks to Hannah at the front desk. She was SO understanding, friendly, kind and helpful. If it hadn’t been for her I don’t know if we would have had as good of a trip. Thank you again!
Great location and comfortable stay!
The food was great and the room was perfect

Great staff. However, watch out for the amenity fees. I thought there was a new law on transparent pricing and was surprised but not shocked when they mentioned the extra charge and "what I get for it" which is just what I expect from the brand. My room was not in tip top shape (carpet frayed, shower cracked, bed needs a new mattress but great pillows). It might be time to abandon the brand.
The room was quiet and comfortable. The restaurant had great Italian food. The event spaces downstairs were functional and well appointed!.
I really liked the wine tasting in the lobby at the end of the day! 😊. I would definitely stay here again.
There was a surprise $30 a night hotel fee which was very annoying.
Sitting in my room on the 5th floor listening to the conversation of two. Strangers in the next room on other side of room door. They could be sitting next to my bed that’s how loud it is and they are just having a normal conversation. Don’t stay here.
We had a short in the wiring by the coffee pot and the light and keep going out off and on while you were making coffee a little scary. I’m sure they’ll get it fixed. Other than that. It was really nice.
