Excellent stay. I would stay here again.
We spent 9 nights and the service was great! Hannah at the front desk is awesome. The brussel sprouts in Panzana are phenomenal.
This is a nice personable hotel. Everyone was very helpful and gracious. They communicate well, I had a lamp problem in my room/ I informed via text and it was fixed before I returned. It’s a bit dark in the entire hotel, and room lighting does not get very bright if you are trying to locate things in your suitcase. I used phone flashlight a lot. Also no beverage service in the room - I could not make coffee or tea - complementary coffee only offered in short AM window. The fridge in my room was not on or not working / warm inside. Minor things, but they are what makes it not a 5 star. Beds very comfy, housekeeping very good
Love staying at Hotel Monaco and doing date weekend.
A very clean and modern hotel with nice amenities located centrally in Denver. An easy walk to Union Station, Mile High Stadium, the Convention Center and many restaurants in the vicinity.
Truly dog friendly and the Front Desk staff and manager were very helpful. Nightcap at Front Desk was also nice touch.
Every time we come to Denver we stay at the Kimpton. Always a pleasant experience with great service and hospitality. Great location in Denver to get to everything .
I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver for two nights on a last-minute trip and chose it because the rate was attractive for a downtown location.
The location is excellent and makes it easy to explore downtown Denver on foot. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure with consistently hot water. The hotel’s signature moody aesthetic creates a unique atmosphere, although some guests may find the room lighting a bit too dim.
There are a few areas where the experience fell short. The standard rooms are quite small unless you opt for an upgraded room category. The television is not a true smart TV and instead relies on Google Chromecast, which may matter to travelers who prefer built-in streaming apps. More concerning was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was noticeable hair in several areas, and the cracked area at the bottom of the shower did not appear particularly clean.
Noise was not a major issue during my stay, but the overall room condition could benefit from more attention to detail. As an IHG Platinum member, I was also disappointed that no room upgrade was offered and that late checkout was unavailable. One of the reasons I remain loyal to hotel brands is for the elite benefits, so that was a missed opportunity.
Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, well-located hotel in downtown Denver with comfortable accommodations, Hotel Monaco is a solid option. While there are some areas that could be improved, I would likely stay here again for a short trip.
Zoltan is awesome. He is the head valet at the hotel. He went above and beyond today to help me get my car fixed. My battery went dead overnight. He tried to jump it for me and RAN back and forth trying to get it done. This is while he is super busy with other guests. I really appreciate his kindness. What a great gentleman.
Needs some updating. Two towels in a suite for four people. Had to change rooms to get a decent WiFi signal.
Quiet hotel, perfect for business travel. Polite rent desk staff who are all extremely helpful! Coffee set up in the lobby each morning is a nice touch!!
TOP NOTCH STAFF AND LOCATION!!! The staff was very much accommodating and verything was within minutes of the hotel!!! It was especially important to me for accommodations to be trustworthy since this was my first solo trip!
Had to get in somewhere last minute, the room was comfortable and overall a good stay. Nate was very impressive as the sole night agent on duty, though it was evident another person really needs to be scheduled to manage the duties he was swinging (nightcap bartender, check-in, answering calls, and drink and snack bar attendant. Also finder of the valet.). He dealt with some rude/impatient customers on the phone with the utmost diplomacy while also checking a line of people in. Kudos to him and recommend the Kimpton overall.
Great location and decor plus happy hour.
We love the Monaco! The service is amazing. This was the first time that we didn't love the bed. The room was exactly what we needed. They go above and beyond to meet your needs. Definitely recommend and will return.
The people working here were incredibly friendly. Place was clean and quiet. Very comfortable! The shuttle to red rocks finished this off for a perfect stay.
Room very comfortable. Reservation was very good!
Staff was great! They helped me out quite a few items and I was very appreciative.
Excellent hotel near many bars and restaurants
Much fun
