Pros:

Beautiful garden but a bit out of the centre, not easy to reach the city.
The breakfast was professional and delicious

Cons:

The waves are bigger than those in Pattaya. There is nothing interesting in the neighborhood

⚠️ Warning: Bed Bugs in a 5-Star Hotel

Our stay at Dusit Thani Hua Hin turned into a complete nightmare.

Throughout the entire stay, my partner developed multiple bites on his arms and legs – clearly in a line pattern, which is typical for bed bugs. The number of bites increased day by day. We informed the hotel, but they dismissed it as mosquito bites and did not take it seriously.

By checkout, his body was covered in bites. We asked for compensation, but were told we needed a medical confirmation.

Back in Germany, a doctor officially confirmed bed bug bites. Even after sending the documentation, the hotel denied responsibility and claimed it could have come from “anywhere” – despite us staying exclusively at this hotel.

We were also forced to go through a major cleaning process at home (washing everything and disinfecting luggage) to avoid bringing the infestation with us.

Conclusion: Pain, stress, and significant inconvenience – with zero apology or compensation. Completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.

Dusit this is no where near your usual standard.
Pros:

Stayed here for 10 nights from the 4th of March , have stayed at Dusit hotels before and have always been first class , this one is not only in need of renovations in the rooms but also the sunbeds need replacing the pool towels are stained and old . Cleaning around the pool was not good toothpick on floor by sunbed for 3 days
While we were they we unfortunately had 2 large weddings take place , whilst the noise was loud we could cope with that what is more annoying is one pool was completely closed for a day meaning the other pool was crowded and finding a bed impossible, the they would close a particular restaurant for another wedding event.
For two days we could not use the main restaurant for breakfast as the wedding party were using it for a private breakfast and all guests had to have breakfast in the Thai restaurant, well the quality of the offering / service was way below what we had experienced over the previous 8 mornings , I booked direct with Dusit , why can’t they advise that two large weddings will take place while you are there and certain amenities will be closed , we can then decide wether to go or not , but they don’t which is unacceptable.
On the 2nd wedding of that week , the wedding guests were seen photographing and taking videos of females by the pool , this was also spotted by the increased management presence walking around the pool constantly, which we had not seen the previous 8 days , this is unacceptable and the hotel guests should not have to be put in this position and feel uncomfortable, when I spoke to the female manager she confronted the wedding guests and got security to conduct more pool walk rounds .

Top Notch!
Pros:

Excellent property with great food and wonderful staff. We were here for 10 days in total and could not find fault at all. Yes they do have international weddings but we saw it as added and free entertainment and everyone is respectful and I can imagine the people complaining about it has more of an issue with the fact that they are potentially xenophobic and not with the ‘disruption’ - we didn’t experience any disruption whatsoever apart from the music being a little loud in the afternoon but it didn’t last long and it wasn’t unbearable. We would come back here in an instant and are already planning our next stay. Rooms are huge and all have balconies. Gym and spa amazing, huge grounds and beautiful decor. See you again soon.

Pros:

Rooms were nice and big, staff were super friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

No complaints, overall good hotel to stay at. One thing I would highlight is that you tell people that the security deposit is not mandatory and that you will be locked out of the minibar instead
