Marriott Anchorage Downtown

First time in Alaska, here for a conference. Staff has been wonderful. Very attentive. Rooms are very clean, comfy beds. Ren in the Club lounge was super friendly, sharing tips about a Chef's conference and offered a discount for a highly recommended local seafood restaurant. View from the club is perfect!

Renz at the Concierge Club provided incredible hospitality with top notch service and great recommendations for eating around the city! Thank you Renz!🥰 The club had a great breakfast offering with scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and juices!

Desi in the breakfast room was fabulous server: attentive and sweet. The rooms are well-sized. Amenities simple ( no robes or slippers, no cosmetic aids in bathroom such as cotton pads and shower cap) . Big tv. No free streaming do bring your app passwords. Pleasant front desk and bellhops. Good location. I went swimming in the pool, which was wonderful; had to ask for a robe to get there from my room. So if you like to swim do not hesitate to ask for the robe.

Good, updated hotel in beautiful downtown Anchorage. Comfortable walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping — even with the frigid temperatures! Staff was warm and helpful, especially Renz in the club lounge!!

Been here many times, and this is just an update on the practices. As usual, beds are soft, and fitness room equipment need to be really updated, with all the rust and poor condition. A new and surprising theme appears to be to keep using filters for the water dispenser, even after the unit indicates that it was time to change the filter. One wonders if the management is really not meeting its profit numbers, even with the record tourists last year. Hmmm!

This is the second trip I have taken in the last month to the Marriott. There have been some amazing and helpful staff. From the guys checking in at the front desk, Matthew and Ege, to the server in the concierge lounge upstairs Renz. Thank you for making me feel at home.

Renz was absolutely amazing in the concierge lounge. So friendly and attentive. If I had my own company, I’ll snatch him up in a hot minute. Thanks for the excellent customer service!

Attended a conference and decided to have lunch in their bar. Their Angus beef burger was good! Price was good. Staff were very attentive to the customers, making sure they covered all they need. Dining was clean.

Not a friendly atmosphere. Cold room. 15 minutes for hot water to reach the shower. Food deliveries not allowed to your room

Hotel is convenient to everything. Had a very nice breakfast with Shruti providing exceptional service with a smile. Very nice rooms. Front desk is welcoming. Hot chocolate in the lobby was a nice touch.

Had a great experience with Akash, he is the best knowledgeable Manager I had ever experienced. Beautiful hotel and lovely stay Great hospitality!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times now. But this visit is a standout. I was granted access to the concierge lounge and Rand runs the place amazingly and keeps it immaculate and the food and snacks are plentiful. And then there's the view of Cook inlet and some of the local mountains. I highly recommend this location.
