Marriott Anchorage Downtown

I would like to give a shout out to the concierge server Renz. He was so amazing! TBH the rest of the hotel staff should get some training on how to make their customers feel important and like family. This man goes above and beyond and deserves a raise!

Loved the stay and especially the lounge. Super friendly service when I was there for breakfast and you can’t beat the view.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel lounge — the service was consistently excellent, meal and snacks options were basics however the food was tasty all the time.
A special thank you to Renz, who took such great care of me every morning. His kindness, attention to detail, and warm attitude truly made my stay even more enjoyable.

The Marriott Anchorage Downtown has a terrific staff. They are very attentive and accommodating and will do what they can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location with easy walking access to meeting locations (Dena'ina Center and Egan Center) and many restaurants, shopping, and bars. During a recent stay I accidentally left some valuable items in the room and when I called to let them know the staff immediately went into action and made sure I got the items back. This hotel has nice workout facilities and a pool. They also have free hot cocoa and apple cider each evening and that is a nice perk, especially in winter months.

We came here for Pacific District ice hockey tournament and Renz was amazing. Super helpful and very attentive in the Club Lounge, especially when there were so many other player families staying at this same hotel.

Great night's sleep in a modern comfortable room.

Hotel has a nice heated pool and a decent restaurant. My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner. She had a steak, and I had a soup/sandwich combo. All in with a beer, the bill was about $70.

Bonvoy Gold gets you a choice between a $10 food credit or 1000 points.

Hotel is right downtown. Uber/Lyft from the airport was about $20.

Only minor complaint is that the onsite coffeeshop didn't open until 11am. Not that helpful if you're looking for a latte and muffin instead of a sitdown breakfast.

Highly unlikely I'll be back in Anchorage any time soon, but I would stay here again. Very peaceful, comfortable night's sleep.

I’ve stayed at the Marriott several times in Anchorage and prefer this hotel due to the location in downtown near many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very modern and if you’re lucky to have a high floor room then you will have a wonderful view of the inlet! The staff was very friendly and I look forward to returning next week for a few days!

Customer service was phenomenal… The room was well pointed and very comfortable. It’s one of the only Marriott locations that actually honor my request prior to check-in. Stay there every trip. I’m in acreage.

Friendly server, always quick to respond to any requests. Always polite and helps make our stay enjoyable. We will be returning in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a modern bathroom that felt fresh and updated. It was the perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring the city.

I especially appreciated the late checkout, which made my departure day much more convenient and stress-free. The bellman was also incredibly kind and helpful, holding my luggage securely until it was time for me to head to the airport.

Excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a great downtown location — I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Anchorage!

First time in Alaska, here for a conference. Staff has been wonderful. Very attentive. Rooms are very clean, comfy beds. Ren in the Club lounge was super friendly, sharing tips about a Chef's conference and offered a discount for a highly recommended local seafood restaurant. View from the club is perfect!

Desi in the breakfast room was fabulous server: attentive and sweet. The rooms are well-sized. Amenities simple ( no robes or slippers, no cosmetic aids in bathroom such as cotton pads and shower cap) . Big tv. No free streaming do bring your app passwords. Pleasant front desk and bellhops. Good location. I went swimming in the pool, which was wonderful; had to ask for a robe to get there from my room. So if you like to swim do not hesitate to ask for the robe.
