Marriott Anchorage Downtown

Staff wa fabulous ! Shruti was our server in the restaurant. She was always smiling & greated us every morning with a question of what juice we wanted. The entire staff at the hotel was outstanding. We really enjoyed the hot chocolate every afternoon. Keep up the good work.

We were fortunate to have great weather. The guides got us to the destination ahead of other groups allowing us to experience the area without interruption. The guides' geographical knowledge was key to our wonderful experience. We spent 2 plus hours on the glacier walking an easy 2.65 miles.

Great hotel! Everyone is very good at what they do. From the valet people to the front desk, they go out of their way to help in any way.
Douglas at the bar and Renz in the concierge lounge are my favorites.
Douglas is not only a great bartender but also a perfect travel guide who knows every place in town.
Renz takes fantastic care of all of his guests. He is a really great host who always makes sure everyone has what they need.

Putu from Indonesia here on a 1 year work VISA was most hospitable. Great service and made me feel right at home for breakfast at Cafe Permonade.

First class accommodations with excellent customer service. In particular Renz, your food server, has been polite, professional and has added a personal touch to our visit. Kudos!

Everything was great. The front desk staff was very helpful and the restaurant staff was great too. It was nice having a restaurant in the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was free hot chocolate and cider available every day. The location was close to downtown restaurants and shopping.

Renz is lovely in the concierge lounge. Very attentive service.

Great hotel choice in downtown, we had some issues with noise and the front desk was able to move us into a nice quiet room. Highly recommend the rooms ending in -28 as they have a wonderful view and are peaceful. Location is convenient downtown, and we were able to walk to the Iditarod start and Fur Rondy events.

Marrioot anchorge downtown has always been a great place to stay bu this last visit was exceptional. The cleaning staff was above and beyond what they normally are and I have never seen a person waiting at the door to mop up your snowy footprints as you walk in. place was spotless

My wife and I stayed at the Anchorage Marriott during the 2026 Fur Rendezvous and found our room spacious, quiet, and clean. The staff provided helpful service and local tips, and both hotel restaurants offered good food. The hotel's cleanliness stood out, and its location made it easy to walk to all downtown venues, eliminating the need for a taxi or Uber.

Spent the night and had a wonderful stay and breakfast. Excellent Staff 👍👍

A quick shout‑out to the team at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown. Had an excellent stay — the hotel was clean, welcoming, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The location was perfect for attending a trade show at the convention center; even at –1°, it was close enough to comfortably walk back and forth. Overall, a smooth, enjoyable experience.

We stayed night due to early meeting next day. Stayed on 20th floor great view and great service entire stay.

Many thanks to the amazing staff at the Anchorage Marriott for ensuring that there is at least one hotel available back home that hasn’t turned into a dump!

The mattress was heavenly. Room was very clean. The service at the front desk and valet were exceptional. This Titanium BonVoy member was happy!

My only note really is that the concierge lounge is dated and not comfortable. It’s an extraordinary space that has so much unrealized potential. Also, the coffee pots in the lounge were not kept fresh and snacks were not available.

Ilyas at the front desk gets all my extra accolades, although they were all great.

I would like to give a shout out to the concierge server Renz. He was so amazing! TBH the rest of the hotel staff should get some training on how to make their customers feel important and like family. This man goes above and beyond and deserves a raise!

Loved the stay and especially the lounge. Super friendly service when I was there for breakfast and you can’t beat the view.
