Not satisfied for what you pay
Cons:

We stayed at the Marriott Maida Vale for one night and unfortunately left quite disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering the Marriott name and the price point, which led us to expect a more luxurious standard.

The room itself did not feel properly maintained. The bedroom floor had visible stains and felt dirty enough that we were uncomfortable walking barefoot, yet no slippers were provided. The pillows were also extremely lumpy, making it difficult to get comfortable or sleep well.

The bathroom had several issues too. The shower leaked badly from the side, leaving the floor soaked after use. Water pressure was poor, and the temperature fluctuated constantly between very hot and cold. While there were L’Occitane toiletries provided, the body lotion bottle had clearly already been used and was nearly empty, which felt unhygienic and careless. Surprisingly, there was also no toilet brush in the bathroom.

We also had issues connecting to the WiFi, as the login details did not match the booker’s name, meaning we were unable to access it during our stay.

The service overall felt lacking. On arrival, the receptionist was not particularly helpful when we asked about massage availability at the spa. I eventually had to insist that she calls the spa directly, only to find out there was no way availability could be provided over the phone and that we had to walk there ourselves anyway, so we were effectively not really taken care of. During check out we wanted to address our complaints in person, but the lobby was full of people checking in, while only one member of staff was behind the desk.

In addition, Carluccio’s diner was fairly underwhelming and did not meet expectations. Definitely not value for money and I wouldn't recommend it.

Overall, the experience felt far below what we associate with Marriott.

De reserverar pengar för boendet vilket inte är släppt nu 2 v efter…
Inte städat så bra. Hyllorna var dammiga. Vi hittade en tidigare gästs strumpor bakom sängen.
Poolen ligger i huset bredvid och är ganska fin men omklädningsrummen är rent utsagt äckliga.

Fab stay! We had a brownie left in the room for my daughter’s birthday which was a lovely touch! It was our second stay
