It was my wedding day, the hotel staff made it special, so well organised, lovely rooms and wedding event.
Truly a wonderful hotel.
The breakfast was plentiful and amazing quality.
Highly recommended
Loved our stay at the marriot maida vale ,
Everything exceeded expectations. Thankyou
Have stayed here before as we can book a room with 2 doubles for us 4 girls. Rooms are large enough, with plenty of amenities, sockets and mirrors. Good breakfast included. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. It's a 2 mins walk to the tube with the Bakerloo line taking you into the centre of things within 15 mins or so.
We're never in Maida Vale but find the location quiet enough day or night.
I really enjoy my 3 days stay. My son was injured and had surgery, we booked a disable room for 3 of us. It’s very well designed and bath room is very big, lots of space to move around with 2 persons. The breakfast is very nice, the omelette is just the best! I really appreciated all the help they have provided and made this post surgery recovery 3 days very smooth.
Firstly, great sized room by London standards and very clean.
The hotel is within 3 minutes walk from Kilburn High Rd station so is super convenient.
The welcome and reception was first class and we'll certaiblt stay again.
Convenient and quiet hotel in the beautiful Maida Vale neighborhood
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in London! The rooms were comfortable and everything was clean and well-maintained. A special mention goes to Oualid, the manager, who was incredibly kind and friendly. He went above and beyond to help us by agreeing to keep our bags for a few days until we returned to London, which made our trip so much easier. We felt very welcomed and taken care of — we would definitely stay here again!
This hotel is well located in London and offers nice food; however, it falls short in its hygienic quality standard. The hotel staff and managers have a very reckless attitude towards the hygienic standard of the guest room and the bathroom, arguing that they could do nothing with permanent stains and that guests have to live with it.
The hotel is actually nearer to Kilburn side rather than the name suggested Maida Vale area.
The location of the hotel is not very convenient if you need to get to London City area like Covent Garden or go to King’s Cross station. The hotel nearest underground station is Kilburn Park and it is not exactly near the hotel as you will have to cross 2 junctions to get there. Also to get to the City Center, there’s no direct underground train and you will need to change at Paddington or Embankment station. The trips will take at least 50mins.
Finally, the hotel is unable to store big luggage for more than 24 hours (if u need a place to store them when u made short trips out of London, like to go to Edinburgh) due to limited space as claimed by the hotel staff. We found it very inconvenient!
The Marriott Maida Vale is in a beautiful and tranquil suburb. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the staff is very nice. The food at Carluccio’s is delicious. We did not like the food at the Persian restaurant across the street. There is a small grocery store a few steps away and larger food halls within walking distance. An Uber ride to central London will take 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Overall, the hotel is a very good value and the location is fine if you don’t mind taking the underground or an Uber to central London.
We had a great stay in London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale! There are lots of great restaurants and parks in the immediate area and very close to the underground! All the staff were extremely pleasant and the accommodations were excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting the Front of House Manager Oualid during our visit who was very professional and helpful in providing guidance and tips for our stay. We visited the hotel's restaurant Carluccio's for breakfast before we departed, EXCELLENT! We had a great breakfast, there are a wide variety of delicious options and the dining staff was extremely pleasant. Highly Recommend This Property and look forward to visiting again the next time our travels bring us to London!
great location
Property is not family friendly, it does not have a gym or swimming pool. they have an external gym, block or so a way to be used, very old gyms, swimming pool enclosed within a rook, very low ceiling. Hotel staff do not provide any of the amenities unless you ask for it multiple times, they charge for water, left garbage bags in my room. Very bad experience over all.
Expedia advertise this property as Great for family and I wonder how or Why?
Stayed 3 nights at Marriott Maida Vale. Basic hotel in an offbeat location in London. While accessible by tube and bus, its far from all the major sites in London. Also area near Killburn park seemed a bit dodgy.
Room was basic and comfortable. Price did'nt include breakfast so we had to go out to Starbucks nearby which was nice to have. Would not stay at this Marriott again. One in Canary Wharf is much nicer and new.
Lovely clean hotel. Beautiful beds. Great shower. Great location
The only negative was the bathtub, very high (difficult to enter/exit) and narrow. Everything else was great! Little treats and notes made it special.
Had a lovely stay, rooms spotless.
Bed and pillows were so comfy, had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast was a real treat, staff very friendly.
Location great.
Hotel is nice. Neighborhood is a bit dirty.
Nice staff but parking was very expensive
The staff was friendly and service was great
Only minor difficulty we had was getting the password for the wifi
