Cleanliness, proximity to Liverpool One and the train station. Breakfast was good. Convenient check out time (midday). In addition, staff were happy to store my luggage
The sound alert for the lift
Good breakfast
Great location
Great shower
The bed was very hard and pillows so soft they went totally flat when you lay on them.
Excellent location, very clean and lovely staff. The room was very spacious.
Not enough tea/coffee/milk in the room.
It's a perfect location, staff were so helpful. Beds super comfy
The AC wasn't great, it was a hot weekend when we stayed and would have liked it to be a little cooler in the rooms but nothing major
Location was great. One lovely lady receptionist recommended the Library to me. Wonderful recommendation
I was asked if I wanted my room serviced daily and I felt for the price it should be. Nobody serviced it the first and second day, so on the second day I went to get milk from the bar. On my final day, still nobody had changed the cups or towels so I asked at reception. Eventually this was done. I feel that if someone is paying 330 pounds for 3 nights, everything needs to be topped up and room serviced.
The guest services man Delong was excellent and so helpful as were the maintenance men Ivan and Simon who assisted us when the air conditioning wasn’t working
Nothing
The staff were friendly and professional and the value and location was superb.
Nothing
Cleanliness and staff behaviour
Waited 30 mins for the room as the keycard wasn't working.
Terrible fan noise at night from outside eventhough windows were shut. Not an enjoyable experience overall
Spacious comfortable room with really good bedding and towels. Very clean and ample supplies. Very good breakfast.
Would really prefer a walk in shower
The location was excellent, literally over the road from Liverpool Lime Street Station. Mariam kindly contacted us beforehand to run through our room requirements and arranged a suitable room.
Room hadn’t been configured as per our previous liaison with Mariam, however, a quick chat with reception and this was soon remedied without issue.
Il y'avait un grand choix. Un très bon service du personnel
Il manquait des crèpes.
Location is very, very close to the train and metro station which means easy to go everywhere!
We had reserved 7 nights in this hotel for our stay in London. On the first night, the air conditioner had a problem (apparently, the whole floor ran out of air conditioner) and did not work. Temperature was 30 centigrades that day and the room was very hot. Firstly, we asked to change room and the manager said the hotel was full. We asked for a fan and the manager said they did not have any. In a 30-day trip, that was the worst night. We then asked to be relocated in another nearby Mercure hotel and he said that he would do that in the morning. We also asked for complimentary breakfast and he said ok. The next day, the manager was not there and he had not left any instructions about our stay. We lost a lot of time arguing with the person in charge and finally we were relocated in the other hotel. When you are traveling, you want to take advantage of every minute to visit the attractions and with these problems we lost a lot of time.
