- convenient location close to Hongqiao airport and railway station

I appreciated how knowledgeable the staff Joyce as front desk staff was about local attractions and dining option in Marriott Shanghai hongqiao Hotel,and incredibly welcoming and check- in a breeze. I felt valued as a guest . I would like to visiting here again .

毛巾一般比較舊，坐廁設計好怪，要蓋上才能按下沖廁，浴室沖涼位置很糟，有很多污漬，建議改善，不打算再入住

Hotel has seen better days. The rooms are ok but the bar, lounge, restaurant facilities are below standard for a Marriott- the place is lifeless after 5pm. Conveniently located for the train and airport plus a short walk to Laowei street with its bars and restaurants. Breakfast was mediocre.

i ordered a suite that includes the club - breakfast and dinner + happy hour. breakfast was fine , but dinner and happy hour was insulting - i asked for beer and got refused.

Arrived late. Joyce arranged early key pick up so that when I arrived my room is ready and my dinner delivered. Just super service. Made it like home. Always better than expected. I will come again and again. The smile and speedy service is also sweet.

Always excellent service and very good location. It is our hotel of choice when we are in Shanghai.

Hotel is dated but located in the area I have meetings for days so it’s very convenient.
Rooms are clean even the property is dated, lower floors don’t have coffee machines in the room, you have to request. Service is great, I had horrible toothache they helped me bought medication. They said no smoking in the room, but once you open the door, you can smell the smoke.

Very poorly managed hotel. I was disappointed as an Ambassador elite + lifetime Gold member. The property would NOT turn on central air conditioning (AC) in mid-April when daytime temp was 70°F to 80°F.

I arrived at the property around 8:00 PM local after a long flight from Singapore, dropped off bags, turned on the AC and headed out. Upon return at 11:00 PM, room temps per thermostats were 75.74°F (24.3°C) in the bedroom, 74.84°F (23.8°C) in the entrance/living area. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs!

Thanks to Aylin and Jerry at check-in and Jason at check-out for warm, professional service. Also, the staff at breakfast and at the pool/fitness center. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I had a great stay at the Marriott Hongqiao, rooms are spacious, facilities and the M Club were club and the staff are friendly and helpful, my special thanks to Vincent, who ably assisted to help located some parcels I had delivered to the hotel. 👍🏻

Absolutely shocking experience

Originally recommended by an ex colleagues Stayed in the hotel for one night. Rooms feel old, no bathroom. As a silver elite member, was expecting a good experience. However there was a lack of attentiveness by the staff at checkin when arrival.

Worst of all was having their breakfast. I have allergies for MSG, and was reassured by staff as after I had an egg I had a reaction. Only after speaking with Fenny, their manager, they admitted the food they get supplied may have msg.

I went to feed this back to the front office manager Jason. He told me he needs time to find a solution. I said. I will wait in the room.

Just before I leave, I came down to check if any progress or compensation was made. Instead, i was referred to another manager, John yin, who said there’s no msg in the food. When he goes, his manager said there is nothing added but I was told by fenny there is msg in the won ton.
John made no effort to apologise or even show any concern of the issue to management.
Do not waste any time in this hotel. Hard to believe how it’s 5 star.

Always great service.

This was my first stay at this hotel. It is close to a subway station and Hongqiao airport and railway station. There are no restaurants, shopping, or amenities near the hotel. The room temperature stayed a warm-for-me 24C+ unless I opened the vent windows in the room. The outside noise was not obtrusive when I did so. Meals were excellent. If you like Starbucks, you will appreciate that there is a shop at the hotel. I enjoyed my stay overall

人員服務很好，符合萬豪的水準。但硬體確實是有點舊了，特別不能理解的是浴室的蓮蓬頭，每次開水都要重新調溫度，實在很不方便。
