Super comfortable hotel, very helpful and attentive staff. Room service lamb chops were to die for! Bed was dreamy.
Rooms need operable windows. No ventilation.
Not a great area for wandering the streets, not much vibe.
The hospitality of the hotel staff was commendable.
직원들의 친절도가 훨씬 높아졌습니다.
객실커피머신이 오래된점과. 충전기가 객실내에 비치되있지 않은점이 조금 불편했습니다.
This hotel is centrally located and has an attached mall for shopping. I did a solo wellness stay in Seoul and loved visiting the JW Marriott in Seoul. I had excellent service provided by Carol at the concierge desk who helped me make appointments for nail services while I was visiting. She also was able to assist me throughout my stay and I loved her attention to detail and organization. All staff were kind and the executive lounge breakfast was top notch. The breakfast buffet and cappuccinos are amazing. Hotel guests also have access to the sauna, gym, and steam rooms. Highly recommend checking out their facilities. You could spend an entire week here and feel very pampered and relaxed. Great for solo getaways.
Cleanliness of the hotel
When we asked them to collect dinner table they didn’t come on time, they left the table in our room for two hours and affected our sleeping time
Great Location, 50 mins bus ride at night and a 5 min work from bus drop off. Beautiful mall you can spend half day shopping and eating downstairs. Express Bus terminal and subway is closely connected to the hotel.
Hotel is in very good condition and you couldn't tell its a 20+ years old property. the owner did a GREAT renovation from lobby to the room it all looks and feel new. Hinoki-like wood shower flooring is definitely lovely to enjoy. On the other hand I am surprised that the amenity is unbranded. The soap scent to me is a surprisingly low cost supermarket branded smell. Maybe its local clients preference or? I would definitely love Aromatherapy Associates to be stocked.
Club Floor is huge and very modernized. The food offering for breakfast is american breakfast + a bit korean style (eg soup). somehow I feel like it would be better if there were a bit more hot items. Egg station is there but the pre-cooked omelette/eggs was placed under the warmer which was off, so both days the pre-cooked eggs i got was actually cold. drinks is 100% self-serviced. understand the traffic of the club but when i asked for iced americano, instead of assisting guest with the drinks i was just pointed to the ice machine which was a bit 'off' to me. One day there was an incident that a client was non-stop shouting at the entrance area complaining. I wish the team could manage to handle it in a better way ie. escort the guest to a more private area instead of shouting at the reception maybe?
I do see a lot of local korean staying in the property so its definitely popular. with a price around 400USD per night its definitely on a high side and I hope the minor things such as the soap and the service can be further polished to make it the top 1 on tripadvisor soon. looking forward to be back in this property.
