Hotel odmówił wystawienia faktury, gdyż płatność była dokonana przez booking, pomimo że booking wysłał wiadomość do hotelu z prośbą wystawienia faktury. Bardzo słaba obsługa recepcji (pojedynczych osób). Cena w stosunku do jakości zdecydowanie wygórowana.
Nice hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast area at Riverwalk terrace. Nice steakhouse restaurant they got. Amazing vibe in hotel. It seems great hotel. Although they gave me check in at 4:35 pm being ambassador member but they realised it and help with check-in. Restaurants are must try. They got nice bar at the lobby of the hotel. Must try if you are around in Tampa. Nice hotel with vibe.
Beautiful deco
In the center of traffic
We stayed just one day/night and had a great time, we had come from legoland and wanted a special night before we headed back home.. We checked out the next morning and when we got to the airport I realized I left my airpods in the room I called and messaged the hotel and they told me they would look into and to call back later after housekeeping had a chance to clean the room.. I called this morning and this time they connected me with security and they were not located, however based on my find my app they are now at a random building in fort myers.. I think this Marriott needs to have a talk with their staff as they obviously stole my airpods.. When I first reached out someone should have gone to the room to retrieve them. It was well before our checkout time. So after a lovely yet pricey vacation for my 10 year old I am down $250 for airpods that could’ve easily been retrieved when I first reported them as being left behind.
Alles!
we had a water view room which was very nice
Not enough seating at the pool
Property was fine but Bookings.com support sucked. I will never use your app again!
Super Lage, Personal sehr freundlich, Essens auswahl gross. Hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.
Preise für Parking könnte günstiger sein.
Proximity to the convention centre and aquarium and Arena
I didn’t like the restaurants were closed early on Mondays
Booked a room with points at this hotel months ago for my daughter's wedding night. The online booking did not allow me to add extra names to the reservation, so I called the front desk of the hotel 2 days before the wedding to ask if I could add my daughter's name to the reservation. They told me they could not do that at the property but sent me to Marriott customer service. The women was very helpful, said she added the name and made a notation that it was a wedding night.
When my daughter arrived after her wedding (while still in her wedding gown) they said they had no record of her on the reservation. Okay, there was a screwup. That's unfortunate. Especially on her wedding day. I accept that those things happen. It could have been easily solved by calling me. I'm a lifetime Titanium Elite member with Marriott. They've had my same cell phone on file for 25 years.
Instead, they gave my daughter a hassle. She stood in the lobby in her wedding gown having to plead with them. Finally, told her to call me and send a picture of my drivers license. I did that, and apparently they continued to hassle her before finally allowing her in the room.
She was so upset, she called me again and I went to the hotel and talked to the clerk. I explained this whole scenario and told her they had better do something nice for my daughter to make up for this stain on her wedding night. The woman apologized, said she would go talk to someone about what they could do.
When I talked to my daughter the next day, I asked what the hotel had done for her:
Nothing. Zero.
I sent an email to the hotel general manager. Got a form response in return asking how my stay was. I called Marriott Titanium Elite line and got a lecture about how the front desk cannot add names to a reservation (which I already knew because the front desk had transferred me to the Marriott customer service line to add the name). They offered me 5,000 Marriott points as an apology. Never mind that I spent 80,000 points for the one night, but how does 5,000 points in my account do anything for my daughter.
I've stayed more than 1,500 nights in Marriott properties. I have never been so disgusted with a hotel as I am with this one.
Friendly staff and excellent location
NA
Location is great as is the atmosphere, but the service and value are poor. I am a long time Bonvoy member and was not treated as such upon check-in. The desk agent was uncaring and unwilling to honor the reservation that we had booked. We had to rebook at a 3x higher rate on site. The rooms were very overpriced and you don’t get much in terms of room for how much you pay. They were very busy the weekend we were there and understaffed. It took an hour in line to get a coffee at their provisions store. Valet was overrun and it was very chaotic. Their bar staff was shorthanded in the lobby and outdoor bar. Also, likely out of control, but the pool area was overrun with bugs flying all around as you tried to sit and relax by the pool. There was like an infestation. Lastly, more in their control around the pool, I was shocked that there was no food or drinks service. Once again we had to stand in line for 30 minutes to place an order at the bar for lunch. Not what I am used to for staying at a Marriott resort. I also emailed my concerns and the response back was generic and unhelpful. A very disappointing experience overall.
This hotel is beautiful, really nicely decorated and all that - but beware: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights it is loud outside! I asked for a water view room, because I thought it would be quieter than the street view rooms, but I was wrong. Apparently the music lasts until at least 12am or even 12:30am! It is coming from the boat and restaurants across the water and it is loud bass thumping music. Also, note that this is a party hotel. Because of the distance to all the bars and clubs and Arena, especially on a game or concert night, everyone is staying there. It is busy, loud, kids are running down the hall, babies are screaming in rooms, and people are getting intimate which you can hear through the hallways, if you know what I mean. The walls are thick where you can’t hear into the next room, however, you can hear noise through your room door. Perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the restaurant, the Riverwalk Terrace, which was recently renovated. It is beautiful, and the food is delicious. The buffet is a little pricey, but you can order off the menu and the food is just as wonderful.
Lobby, room, view and staff.
Overall I enjoyed my stay here but found room for improvement in several areas. I was in town to visit family and run the Gasparilla 15K race.
Pros: The hotel is in a great location across from the convention center and close to Bayshore Blvd where you can walk or run for miles. My room had a balcony with a great view of the water. I used the fitness center. It was large and very nice. The staff outside the hotel in the drive-up area were very helpful. It was always very busy but one of them helped me locate my Uber driver.
The concierge lounge was spacious and modern with great views. The staff there were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Would suggest they stock bottles of water in the concierge lounge. Instead they have a water spout. With as warm and humid as Tampa gets it would be great to just grab a bottle of water and go versus having to pour into a plastic cup. Plus not everyone carries their own reusable water bottle especially when traveling. My room was also never stocked with any complimentary bottled water. Would also suggest providing regular yogurt at breakfast versus only greek yogurt as not everyone is a fan of greek yogurt.
I was also disappointed that the entire lounge closed from noon on Friday until 5:30pm on Sunday. It's understandable that the lounge could get very busy with people on the weekends. However maybe just opening for breakfast for limited hours on Sat and Sun morning could be considered. Also I realize that Marriott now does not provide complimentary beer and wine in their lounges; however this is something they should reconsider. Other hotel brands such as Kimpton provide complimentary happy hours which is a nice perk.
The hotel definitely had a loud party atmosphere and especially at the pool where there are two bars. However maybe this was just as it was the weekend when I stayed.
I found the check-in process to be slow and at one point there was only one person working the front desk.
Finally I found all of the "perks" that were provided as a result of having to pay a daily $35 resort fee to be very confusing and I did not utilize any of them. Each evening there was a type of cocktail tasting but it was confusing as to the locations as they were all different. One evening I came upon a complimentary wine offering but it consisted of a 1 or 2 oz "sample". A ride on the water taxi was included in the resort fee; however I did not have time to figure out where to catch that or where it went. The $35 resort fee should be reconsidered as not everyone stays at the hotel for a "resort" experience. I was a solo traveler and in town to run the Gasparilla race so I did not have time for things like water sports or bike riding. I was interesting in taking the complimentary trolley to Ybor City, however there was no one at the concierge desk to ask for information about it.
I also found the fitness center to be in need of a deep cleaning. The area where the yoga mats were was very dusty and looked like it had not even been swept in a long time.
Food was excellent in restaurants and perk
The $55 parking fee per night and they charges me $40 more on the day I was leaving
Ordentliche Zimmer, ein Café gleich im Hotel.
Es gibt kaum Shops in der Gegend. Es gab eine private Party auf der Terasse, somit konnten wir sie nicht nutzen.
