Housekeeping service very substandard. Booked 5 days for 10th anniversary surprise for my wife.
No clean bedsheets for entire week, no vacuum cleaning. Minimal turndown service was all that was given.
Housekeeping staff were very loud on corridors in the mornings.
Bar was ok when it was open. We arrived on a Friday night at 10pm and were told that the bar and restaurant were closed due to a technical fault in that area.
Room design is very poor - looks like the carpets have been there since the 90s. No drinking water in the room, had to go to lobby to get water which was very inconvenient. So called "Superior Room with Castle View" was not worth paying significantly extra. Travelodge-style room way too overpriced for what it cost.
Was expecting a good experience but was extremely disappointed.
Would not recommend.
