A great hotel in a fantastic location.

The reception staff were fantastic and very helpful. They researched and provided information on a number of matters that were very important to us including arranging a medical appointment with a local doctor.

Lindas vistas del río y el Parlamento
Pros:

El hotel es un poco costoso. Sin embargo, elegimos una habitación con vista al Parlamento y el río. En las noches, es muy lindo cómo se ve iluminado. La ubicación es muy buena: al frente de una estación de tranvía, a 7 minutos caminando de una estación de metro y a 12 minutos del Bastión de los Pescadores. La habitación era cómoda y el desayuno fue muy bueno.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Budapest, aber das nächste Mal würde ich ein andere Hotel nehmen.
Pros:

Das Frühstückbüffet war ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Klimaanlage war kaputt. Statt kühler Luft kam Küchengeruch. Der Kühlschrank hat nicht funktioniert. Es wurden auch keine Anstalten gemacht, die Probleme zu beheben. Die Betten wurden in den vier Tagen nie gemacht.

Park Plaza Budapest — O Parlamento na janela e Budapeste aos seus pés
Pros:

Chegamos tarde da noite e a primeira coisa que fizemos foi abrir as cortinas. O que encontramos do outro lado dispensava qualquer outra apresentação — o Parlamento iluminado sobre o Danúbio, visto de andar alto, em toda a sua magnitude. Esse momento sozinho já justificaria a escolha do hotel.
O atendimento na chegada, mesmo em horário tardio, foi impecável — eficiente, cordial e sem aquela frieza de recepção automática que alguns hotéis da rede praticam. Sentimos que éramos bem-vindos de verdade.
O café da manhã é excelente — variedade generosa, qualidade consistente, exatamente o que se precisa antes de um dia intenso explorando Budapeste.

Voltaríamos sem hesitar.

O único porém honesto: o banheiro é pequeno e com acabamento mais antigo, destoando um pouco do padrão geral do hotel. Não compromete a estadia, mas chama atenção numa categoria que se propõe premium.
Fora isso — vista inesquecível, localização privilegiada às margens do Danúbio, serviço de alto nível. Budapeste já é uma cidade que impressiona por si só. O Park Plaza se encarrega de tornar a experiência ainda mais memorável.
