Stayed to visit Sovereign Hill. Perfect location, beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
Close to sovereign hill
First day poor second day ok
Not enough food
They cannot manage bookings on busy weekends. Had to move rooms twice (making us check out and re-check in when we had a 3 night stay) and they then blamed us for using booking.com.
Staff were friendly, room was clean and tidy
Amazing location, beautiful property, scrumptious breakfast, lovely room.
Television/streaming reception was extremely poor, unable to watch anything but "in-house" movies and even they kept resetting. We advised staff so hopefully it was just a one off in our room and has been resolved.
Dinner at the restaurant was lovely and the staff were very accommodating
Rooms a little dated, however they were comfy and met expectations
King bed, great R/C air conditioner (although it is not central to the room)
Decor was ageing and there are cracks in gyproc ceilings and walls. Over bath shower is difficult as we are not young, slippery floor in bathroom, chairs are very old, the cabinets in main room and bathroom are very old and not very well fitting
The location
we booked 4 rooms for 8 people, my partner booked 2 and i booked 2. same rooms however I paid $340 more for 2 nights because I wasnt a member of the group, we both stood together when paying, they upgraded our room to a disabled room which was very average as i am 6ft tall and everyting was at a wheelchair height. the term "i dont know" was used frequently when talking to the staff, will look elsewhere next time. Also room amenities were non existent not even a teaspoon and how about a simple microwave oven for heating coffee or milk
The girl Emmy had good customer care
Breakfast chef should get fired.
The view
Staff are not very helpful
