Very happy with everything. Room well presented, bed very comfy, pillows very nice. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Golden Point pub right next door, so if you wanted to have a few drinks there is no need to drive just a few minutes walk and you’re there, they have lovely meals too. The Mercure property is very nice to just walk around as well, gardens were lovely.
Nothing, everything was very nice. Only thing I would suggest to management is… as they cater for functions and other events, it would be nice to have a full length mirror in the room.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us at the last minute after we were let down by another provider, lovely room, grounds, good breakfast. All around a great experience.

Our room had a bathroom fan that sounded like a helicopter taking off! Tiles were coming off the walls. A couple of the rooms we walked past appeared to be undergoing upgrade so maybe an upgrade is happening?

The room was tidy and spacious. There's also a really nice garden area for a good morning walk. Plus, there's undercover parking available for our room. It's only a 5-minute drive to Sovereign Hill, which is a must-see in Ballarat!
Didn't have a coffee machine but had an electric kettle to make tea/coffee.
Power was out when we arrived. It would have been nice to have been notified in advance and given the option of free cancellation to find another place given we were arriving late after a long day of driving a

The room was old and tired and in dire need of refurbishment. There was mould in various parts of the bathroom. Not good value for money at all. The breakfast was expensive and not particularly good quality, the bacon especially was hard and rubbery.
