Easy to get to. Away from heavy traffic.
I Booked them through Priceline and put in my debit card which Price line said was rejected. I then used a credit card and the reservation went through. I then received 2 confirmations about 20 minutes later in my email. We called Priceline they said they would give a refund once they had the hotels ok. When we checked the hotel said they would get with Priceline and credit the other reservation.
After we left the hotel told Priceline that the booking would not be refunded.
They also charge a $10 dollar tourism fee which they say is a tax that all hotels in Glenwood Springs must charge. I have since learned that the Quality Inn and the Comfort Inn which are both managed by the same people are the only hotels charging this fee and it is not a city tax.
The room also comes with free breakfast which was mediocre and we were there the day DST changed so the clock went forward an hour. We went down at about ten minutes before 9 AM when it closed and got food but what was crazy is the person running the breakfast closed the door to the breakfast area and grabbed all the food right in front of the people in line It was the rudest thing I've seen at a hotel in sometime.
Staff was friendly, had a beautiful view to the river and the mountains. Room was very clean. Pool area was clean and fun and relaxing. Location was perfect right when you get to Glenwood springs and walking distance to dairy Queen and the river for a beautiful walk.atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. Over all it was great for the value.
Great place for a quick ski trip to Powderhorn and Sunlight mountain.
Do not book here. It’s dirty, there are no amenities, the staff is horrible and they do not care.
