Nice staff, terrible property
Pros:

The staff was very nice

Cons:

Breakfast not very good. Packs of Oat meal were so old they were uneatable and I had to throw it out. Fitness center was terrible. You could not get 2 people in there at the same time. Too small. The entire hotel was very, very dirty. The back of our bathroom door was very beat up and dirty. The hook was barely holding on. The switch plate was about to fall off. There were places that needed to be caulked and painted. The shower head was sticking out from the wall so the piping was exposed and there were large gaps that needed to be caulk. The room was very uncomfortable to be in since it was so dirty.

The location from the place we needed to bel

Cons:

Breakfast choices were minimal. All that was served was waffles, bread, bagels, eggs and sausage. The muffin bin was empty. The waffle irons took too long.
The room was not very clean. Freezer was packed with ice, hairdryer kept shorting, sofa cushions were dirty, and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken.
Also, I never had to pay for parking at a hotel before.

Cons:

The ac unit rattled all night making it very hard to sleep. The hallways were very hot.

The closeness to the beach

Cons:

The pool was advertised as heated, but it was cold. The check in time also listed as 3:00 in some places including a confirmation text, but 4:00 in other places. One of the queen beds was also broken

Friendly staff, okay room
Pros:

I really liked the staff. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. John in breakfast room was exceptional. He was friendly, efficient and was intuned to the needs of the guests. The pool was nice and clean. The shower was clean and the water flow was good and temperature hot.

Cons:

While our room was a nice size, the room was full of moisture, and damp and moldy. The rug, cabinets had water smell and stains. It rained in our windows over our cooling unit on Friday 8/28. The ceiling had mold. The room was damp the entire time. The pull out bed was very old, musty and dirty. It was damp. We were afraid to put anything or ourselves on it. The freezer was coated with thick ice.

Way overpriced for unsanitary conditions.

The name

Cons:

There was black mold in our room in the area that was the sitting area with the wardrobe and pullout sofa. I recommended this hotel brand to my family bc other locations had been good. This was embarrassing and I would not recommend anyone staying here. Unfortunately, we did not discover the mold until we were packing up to leave. Also the pool was shut down by health department.
