Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Rehoboth Beach - Dewey

Room smell mildew and and not comfortable. And receptionist was very unpleasant. And breakfast was not good.

When we first arrived we got there around 3:45 knowing that check-in wasn't until 4, so we were willing to wait. When we arrived about 10 people in front of us were able to check in. We were told our room wasn't ready when we got to the desk. She said it would be ready shortly. So we decided to wait in the lobby and watch soccer. We watched about 20-30 other families check in while we waited for our room to be ready. When I asked why they could check in after us, we were told that rooms are assigned and can't be changed. So, we proceeded to wait to get checked in at 4:45, which is well after actual check in. We were told that the room wasn't cleaned yet. We were only there for 1 night and we had dinner plans so it was a huge inconvenience.

This place was extremely dirty. It smelled like cigarettes and the bathroom was filthy.

Pool was horrible cloudy and dirty.

The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and gave no support. The shower floor did not look very clean and looked like it needed to be replaced. We wore our shower shoes every time we showered. The breakfast was not very good and offered limited options. We only ate it once and then ended up going to eat breakfast elsewhere.

The pictures did a disservice. The rooms were not like the pictures. The sofa was old and sunk in as you sat. Things were torn off the wall, the walls were dirty. To the point where I had to clean the corner of the toilet space I’m not sure what it was but it came off. The paints of the bathroom doors were peeled off. The carpet felt old had a different color than the pic and was icky. The room semelles like smoke from the moment we entered it while we requested a nonsmoke. The breakfast was ok, not many options the room was very small crowded and loud.

Hotel is worn but clean. Recently renovated but can tell it gets alot of use. The couch in the room was good as an extra pull out bed but couldn't be used to sit on. The indoor pool area was not the cleanest. Room only cleaned if requested.

Staff was terrible the lady at the front desk was the rudest. The place smelled awful the pool was murky.

The pool was dirty. The front desk lady was rude to all the guests in the building. We talked to her more than once and she was ill tempered both times. The hallway on the fourth floor smelled like dirty diapers.

The hotel and the rooms are very dirty. The carpet smells of urine, it’s old and in poor condition. The floors and plumbing are also unclean.

We were disappointed with our stay. We booked a room for four people, but it was only prepared for two. The sofa bed was not set up and we were told in an unfriendly manner to pull it out and make the bed ourselves. There were also not enough blankets, pillows, or bathroom amenities for four guests and we had to collect the missing items from the reception ourselves.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The "mattress" was only about 4 inchrs thick, sagging and felt more like a thin cushion than a proper mattress.

The booking included free parking, but the receptionist initially tried to charge us $15 per day. Only after we pointed out that parking was supposed to be free did she agree without apologizing.

The reception was unattended when we checked out and overall the staff was not very friendly. In addition, the water in the indoor pool was very cloudy.

Overall, the service and room quality did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price we paid.

The pool was disgusting. We felt nothing but sand under our feet in the pool that was inside. Some of the staff seemed to have an attitude when asked simple questions about where facilities are located.

The hotel provided good value for our beach vacation, though it was a little outdated and not as clean as I would have liked. Regardless, the staff were wonderful, and the accommodations served us well for the five nights we stayed.
