Great location, greater staff
Pros:

Lindsay was kind and checked us in very late (while being so kind to my boys and making them laugh while overly tired, which is quite the feat), John helped us make at least 3 waffles in the morning and refilled the whole milk for us in 10 seconds flat. John was also personable and kind, being sure to address my 6 year old and 3 year old with dignity and kindness, and Holly helped us by getting us fresh water in the morning (even after we had missed the cut off for breakfast) and checking us out quickly and avoiding kiddo meltdown. Great experience.

Good value, we enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

The properly was nice. It needs some repairs but over all you can’t complain. All of the negative things you read in the reviews are slightly true, but they’re not to the extent that it would stop me from going again. To me they’re minor issues. For the price it’s a deal! You get a full breakfast, it was really good. Staff were pleasant, rooms were clean but nothing is perfect.

Cons:

The only issue is they try to charge you $15 for parking in their parking lot. That to me is a problem, it’s a hotel. The hotel has a parking lot and they want to charge you to park there while you’re a guest, that has to change. Especially when the website says free parking. I actually saw people pay it, not good. Who’s keeping this money?

Family vacation
Pros:

We arrived with high hopes of a comfortable family stay and we were not disappointed! The family room with three beds was a success and we also had a king room. The king room was very comfortable as well but we had a minor problem that the front desk was able to sort out and get us into another room very quickly. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, we greatly appreciated them. The breakfast staff were also amazing. They kept up with everyone and everything very well. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Pros:

It was very nice having breakfast served and taken care of by John. He is very much on top of his stuff as well as being friendly with all the customers the comedy getting them with their needs as far as making waffles etc etc. definitely made it enjoyable. As far as the hotel goes they are very unprepared for needing wash where they supply a washer and dryer but they're out of the laundromat stuff as well as Splenda for the coffee and change the laundry machines... Also same breakfast everyday gets kind of old but John made it good

Nice place to stay
Pros:

Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and shopping. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was filling. I would definitely stay here again!

Way too expensive for what it was
Pros:

Room was good size, clean and AC worked great.

Cons:

Super expensive!! Terrible breakfast spread. Front desk folks could not be bothered. Not close to beach at all (more like 20min walk) and parking was extra (not included in price paid on Booking)

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

It was dirty. Unpleasant place. Elevator got stuck with people, almost all electrical equipment wasn’t working during the breakfast.

Cons:

After booking online, where I was told parking was free — it was the reason I chose this motel over others, I was charged $15 for parking. The next day, after I complained, the charge was removed.

Also, the advertised “heated” pool wasn’t, and in fact was too cold to swim in — as evidenced by the fact that nobody was! Its water also was very murky, as if it hadn’t been cleaned.

The breakfast was decent, but the amount of sausage was small and virtually hidden.

We’re fans of Country Inn & Suites and chose them frequently. This was the worst we’ve had. There are much nicer hotels that cost less closer to the beach.

I would definitely book here again.
Pros:

I liked that it was very close to the beach. Place seemed very clean. Staff was very nice, easy check in.

Cons:

The pool smell was very very strong and you could hear the kids in the pool through the whole first floor. Thankfully we stayed on the second so we didn’t hear them.
