Quiet
Air conditioning didn't work properly, rooms were shabby, curtain falling down.
No food at the hotel, car ride to get something to eat
Easy access and good parking near the reception. Room was large and private with decent ensuite.
No food available or room service, but wouldn’t have expected this at the price charged.
The hotel is in a good location for breaking up a long journey.
When we arrived the receptionist was outside smoking a cigarette and when she came to the desk there was a strong smell of cigarettes about her.
There is a connecting corridor between reception and the rooms, this had ants nests and the ants were swarming making it unpleasant to walk past.
In the room there was a crack in the hand basin and the bed was soft which it felt more like soft from over use rather than a soft bed. The smoke detector was only fixed to the ceiling by the wire and not fixed.
Overall the hotel was tired looking and in need of upgrading.
The room was just okay
Toilets stank ashtrays in garden not empty for ages dirty glasses left outside garden furniture rusty not even one star!
It was a very nice little hotel, tucked away up a quiet lane. Fully met my expectations. Had safe parking for my car. Well done to the staff who clearly like working there and genuinely try hard to impress
This isn't a criticism: lovely hotels like this are in competition with big hotel chains. More money needs to be spent on the fabric of this hotel - dampness in the structure needs to be eradicated and the bathrooms could do with a proper facelift

The receptionist was lovely and really helpful
As a solo traveller I felt extremely unsafe. The room had an awful smell of sweat and were really unclean. The facilities were tired worn and shabby or broken. I didn’t stay the night and travelled elsewhere.

Last Friday was 36c degrees I was told I have air conditioning but when I tested it wasn’t working instead it was blowing hotter air, after an hour of checking in I went to reception and told the lady about the air con and all she said that side of the building most air con are not working, my room was so hot I had to leave and went to another hotel, usually I pay less for this room ( 112 ) However I couldn’t understand why they charged me a £10 more for a room you can even breathe air in…
Quiet location
The staff are very friendly and welcoming couldn't wish more from the reception staff and the house keeping staff, they are 5 star.The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Nothing not to like about the hotel.
