I recently booked this for a Lax tournament for 2 nights. I arrived at 9:45 p.m. to check in and learned my room was cancelled for no reason, no phone call, email nothing. They said they were oversold and simply sorry, the supervisor cancelled 7 rooms at 9 p.m. The next day after scrambling to find a new hotel, they called and had a room for me. I came back and when I went to check in the room they gave me had a broken lock, back to no room, later they had a room ready for us again. The room they gave us had zero ac, no working TV and the room smelled like animal pee. No rooms were available for me to move to since they were at capacity. Overall, the stay was awful! The positive, the staff Pat, Erika and Roosevelt could not have been more accommodating and tried very hard to make my stay as best as they could. Poor Pat was upset for me when I had no room the first night and called other hotels to get me a room for one night. Erika was trying her hardest to find me a room on day 2, but they had some major issues which several of their rooms. They are all well aware their hotel needs some major updates. They have some work to do with this property so hoping they fix them. They are an older property, and the location for our lax tournament at united Sports was easy to get to, so hoping for their sake they can fix their problems. The lobby is large for groups to hang out in, and they offer free breakfast which is the standard Marriott free breakfast. Staff great, hotel not so great!
Horrible room with a noisy AC and a bathtub with rusty holes in it. Reached out to the hotel manager and didn’t get any response from her.
Great location
The staff was very friendly

Clean convenient with a nice kitchen and even a dishwasher which we needed.
Difficult to talk to cleaning staff as no one spoke English
Marriott really needs to refresh this hotel. They clearly updated the bathrooms but the common areas in the rooms and hotel need attention. Staff was great. I had a house emergency and left while they worked on the issue. Overall not bad with the exception of the hallway odor that I alerted the staff about at the front desk. Once I stated my room number there was a look between the employees that they knew I wasn't being melodramatic. They offered me another room but the smell did not permeate my room and I was ok with staying there. By the time I got back it was fine and that housekeeping had come through. I had to extend my stay and they were very accommodating. The day I was to check out I opened my door and came close to getting sick in the hallway. Now, it wasn't just me but my son that said it was really bad. I had to go down to the lobby and have them apply my Marriott reward card so I relayed to them that it was exceptionally bad today. They were apologetic and again knew the issue was with a guest. I cringe to think of staying in that room after they depart. It was a smell I have never experienced before. I have raised boys who played hockey and lacrosse so bad smells are not new to me. The hotel is in a nice area and I think I paid just over 200 a night... not the ritz but not a roadside hotel either.
Nice rooms and location

Check in was a hassle, breakfast was poorly maintained compared to others
Woke up too early didn't do breakfast location is good.
They notified us that the fire marshal needed everyone to leave due to them failing their fire suppression safety test. They didn’t notify us at all until my boyfriend walked in after work at 7:30 pm. They offered vouchers to two other marriott hotels but we did not need them. Then, the manager had a customer talking very calmly to her and she started screaming and cursing at the top of her lungs and slamming doors. She genuinely seemed unstable and the guest was only asking her simple questions. It was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I’ve never seen a grown woman scream like that before.
The property was in a great location near the things needed!
I don’t have any complaints about the property
The rooms were nice but the hanged our room type
They threw us out at 10 pm over the card I had for incidentials they made me check out and in each day some employees accepted Venmo for incidentials some did not there was a discrepancy with reservation and they made me pack and leave with my son who had school the next day at 10 pm
