Soft bed and lower shoer water pressure
Pros:

The room is big. Two main problems: 1) the hotel bed is too soft. Could not sleep too much. I had to leave the hotel early from a long reservation due to this. 2) shower water pressure is low. Could not get a decent shower.

Worst Accommodation Experience
Pros:

It has been 2 weeks Fri May 29 2026, since my initial email to the Sonesta ES management team requesting a refund of overpayment for the amount I have been charged vs what I should have been charged based on the Total Amount quoted via my Expedia booking.
Expedia Total incl taxes was USD1326.76. Sonesta ES Suites had charged and withdrawn from my account USD1541.45. A USD214.69 difference.
When this discrepancy was queried with ES Sonesta, they provided a nightly rate breakdown with room rates that differed significantly to the individual nightly rate that Expedia also provides.
Despite providing evidence of the amount from the saved Trip details available in Expedia and attaching my bank statement showing the amount ES Sonesta have charged, I am yet to hear from ES Sonesta have no faith or confidence that they will respond.
To add further insult, ES Sonesta have charged on top of the overpaid amount which they have withdrawn from my account an additional USD64.80 for parking.
Reading the reviews by customers on the tripadvisor.co.nz website provides very similar feedback to the unprofessional and below standard experience I have encountered myself. The generic or ChatGPT responses provided by ES Sonesta are of an apologetic nature, yet nil action will eventuate from customers that have had a poor experience.
My warning to all who may be considering ES Sonesta San Fran Airport Oyster Bay, is to steer clear and look elsewhere. Romeo
